This 4acre farm is adjacent to a 400 acre Dungeness River county park. Enjoy trails through the woods, orchard and gardens here and take our private trail head to the river. Note: working farm! There is ongoing cleanup, repairs and projects. Don’t expect a super clean manicured space. 🌳🌲🌸 The medicine woods grow green tea and shade medicinals, the herb garden perennials for tea, and the orchard sports apple, young kiwi and elderberry. Farm wildlife include burros, 🫏 🐐 , patos aka Muscovy 🦆, geese,🪿 gatos 🐈‍⬛ and a dog 🐕 The previous owners had A LOT tucked away into buildings and corners of the farm. We’ve been stewarding the land a few years now but it’s an process! expect some piles of materials, repair projects, purging efforts and building upgrades underway.

Pitch your tent in the farm woods and access our private trail to the Dungeness River through the adjacent 400 acre county park. Alternate sunnier (and less walking from car to tent) setups available in the orchard, herb garden or at the trailhead. Cold-plunge in the glacier-melt irrigation canal, pet a goat, hold a duck, coo at a burro and enjoy the dispersed play equipment throughout the farm. . We have fire-pits, a brick outdoor cooking fire-pit with a grill and a bathroom with running hot and cold water. There is also an outdoor-kitchen in development on the side of the barn with a hot/cold water sink and space to use your cooking gear. Thanks for Sequim-ming *note: this is a working farm! There are projects in development, cleanup and repairs underway, and all dispersed sites aren’t clearly marked. Please use the map to get a lay of the land, and better yet message hosts to arrange a quick walkthrough and orientation of your options upon arrival. You may have complete solitude during your stay, or there may be other residents, workers, guests, or community events in the land.

Car-camp or pop up your tent on a permaculture food-forest farm. Enjoy the song of geese and the gentle murmur of wind in the trees, splash in the 1 foot deep irrigation canal (seasonally) or wander a half mile up our trail to the mighty Dungeness River. Outside the processing barn is a hot/cold water sink. A bathroom building with flush toilet is located by the farm-kitchen and storage

Located on a permaculture food-forest farm, our 20' yurt is outfitted with a queen sized bed, 2 fold out cots and has been used for meetings, herb drying, art, skill-shares and sometimes even dance parties! Enjoy the song of geese and the gentle murmur of wind in the trees, splash in the 1 foot deep irrigation canal or wander a half mile up our trail to the mighty Dungeness River. Complimentary Goodness Tea morning and evening blends, a brew able bouquet and hot water kettle provided. Locally grown trail foods and "heat-at-camp" menu (seasonally) available from the farm kitchen. Nearby outside the barn is a hot/cold water sink and (Nov 2024) an outdoor washroom to compliment the bathroom building up the drive as a close open-air option.

Multi-Purpose Yurt
We loved staying in the yurt! It was lovely waking up to the sight of sunflowers and the sounds of the ducks and geese. Petting the donkeys was a great way to start the day.

The yurt is a fun spot to stay. Your neighbors really are the geese and donkeys. Shaelee came by to say hi and give us a lay of the land. There are people that come to and fro, because it is a working farm. There certainly are spiders in the bathroom but 'tis the season. The yurt had water, a bed- everything we needed for some glamping.

Have stayed at many hip camps and this one stood out. Overall fine experience. No interaction with host but they responded timely. We arrived late and had a difficult time understanding the layout - I would not recommend coming after dark. The bathroom had no hooks and had MANY spiders and webs inside. If we were not used to camping in strange places, we would have left. Slugs all over the tent in the morning. Would recommend host have designated camping areas cleared, hooks in the bathroom and wifi code in some sort of welcome note.

This was our first experience using Hipcamp and it was great! Shaelee was communicative, the site was nice, and it was great to have the bathroom and kitchen. (Side note, the kitchen building has a bathroom with a shower in it. We didn’t realize it until our last morning, With the hammocks, slack line, and fire pit, it was a great adventure base :)

We had a lovely time in the Yurt. Shalee was very welcoming and open. The Children in particular loved the farm animals and playing with the toys, trampoline, etc. The farm has a lot of projects / ideas in various stages of progress, of which the yurt is just one. All in all this makes it a very interesting place but also perhaps a bit rough around the edges. The queen bed in the yurt was comfortable, but the sleeping mats were not really suitable for the children so we used our own camp cots. The adjacent camp site looked like good value and I'd consider asking to pitch a tent if we passed by again.

Shalee was very accommodating, plus we had a shower and firewood and a kitchen, and we got to pet goats. No complaints here!

Shaelee and her neighbors were great to us! A great respite from long stretches of camping. The farm was awesome, and coming along nicely!

Multi-Purpose Yurt
Seven friends and I had a great stay at the yurt. It was a great base camp as we explored the Olympic National Park and Forest! The yurt had a queen size bed and then plenty of floor space with sleeping pads for everyone. The site is great with multiple fire pits to use, a private bathroom, multiple water sources and a large picnic table for meals. Showers are also available. Shaelee is as a great host with a quick response rate to any questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Great hostess but be prepared to visit with her children. This is a great place for folks with young kids. Lots to do from walking the slack line, home made twister, jumping on the trampoline and floating the dyke. You can even play with the friendly goats. Shaelee, is very knowledgeable about the native plants and super welcoming.
