Unusual, chaotic but for the heart
Well, this was certainly an interesting experience.
First of all: The host John is really caring: He guided me in, showed me options to set my (Class A) RV up, and there were several spots where I could hook up power.
But. This place has potential, which has not yet been fully exploited. John's hosting a few long-term guests in "quite classic" RVs, and you'll also find some yet older RVs - all in all the site has an unusual, unpolished-reality kind of touch. Don't expect a structured place with real slots. You need a bit of an improvising mentality, do not mind open-air-storage of "collectibles", but for some weird reason, this site also has its charm, and it made me think and humble.
Contrast to that are then the free roaming goats, which are a real attraction. Lovely animals, very kind, but also not little - you should just know about them, particularly if you got dogs.
The view you'll have from there, and particularly the sunsets are actually spectacular. And you got a forest in the 22 acer site to the back which goes on forever.
It's kind of funny:
On first arrival, my first thoughts were...hmm.. maybe I'm not the right target audience? Somehow, though, that place "had" something which did make me stay for a while, anyway.
Actually, since this place has so much potential, and maybe just need some support, John could offer some "Support and Get Engaged" - weekends, where folks would not only camp, but also help to give the site a bit more structure if John wanted!
