This property was calm, clean and offered us privacy, nature, a place to cook, showers and a hot tub. The camping locations are spread out and we didn’t mind the quick stroll to reach the various amenities. It took us about little more than an hour to visit Mt. rainier and offered a view on the river as well. We hope to come again.

My friends and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. It was great to have so much privacy, a really gorgeous setting, and good amenities. The bathrooms were very clean and nicely decorated. We made fabulous memories sitting along the river and enjoying the scenery and solitude. The owner is great at communication and has done a wonderful job to make this a welcoming space. We hope to return!

Glamping Tent by the River
Kay's place is very cool! A little difficult to navigate at night but that's expected. Lots of land, things felt very private. Stumbled across a couple of other campers. We liked the walkable trails and the exploring available on the river beach. The bathroom is about a 10 min walk from your site and that is really the only negative. Having a real toilet and shower was a unique feature. Very dog friendly.

We loved the camping on K Kay’s property! It was so peaceful with very nice amenities (benches, sitting areas, hot tub, and bathrooms) in addition to our cozy camp site. K Kay was also amazing for being so quick to respond to any out of our questions during our stay. Highly recommend camping here!

This was an excellent camp site with many options on where to set up. The river was gorgeous and had a great time playing in it. The amenities (bathroom, potable water, and the hot tub) made for a restful and easy trip.

We were hoping for a quiet rural getaway over 4th of July. The property is beautiful, unfortunately not as remote as you'd think. Amenities are located in a communal area, so restrooms and the firepit are not really walkable from this site. There is no access to the river from this spot without trampling through brush so we could only sit nearby and watch and listen to the water flow. We would have been fine with all of that, but the fireworks and gunshots coming from neighboring properties was more of a warzone than where we live.
The owner was responsive and understood our problem with the location, but couldn't take responsibility for what others do surrounding her land. So this review is mixed. It was a very expensive rental for 5 hours of enjoyment. It was enjoyable for a few hours and hell for the rest. We didn't even sleep in the glamping tent. I was very disappointed.

Beautiful spot, right on the Cowlitz river, with a good mix of shade and sun right next to an open field of grasses. The views are incredible here, and the owner Kay was very responsive. Picked this place to get away from the fireworks with sensitive dogs, but unfortunately you can still hear the fireworks here which made for some unexpected stress or the few nights they were going off. Other than that, no complaints and really loved the land and the proximity to the river. We would definitely return here, but likely not over the 4th!

There is a lot to like about this campsite. It is quiet, the river is beautiful and nice to hang out by, the two bathrooms with flush toilets and hot showers are clean and a nice plus. However there is nothing so good about this place that it makes sense that they charge as much as they do compared to other campsites. I feel taken for paying that much. In addition, the grassy road that leads to many of the riverside tent sites (and the best sites here) is a hazard for cars. It wouldn't take much effort to trim back the branches and fill in some of the worst ruts, especially for what they charge. Beware your car getting scratched if you attempt it. Furthermore, those sites are not cleared out and very accommodating for tents.

Not crowded at all, and the access to the river was so lovely! Host was very communicative, and the bathrooms/showers were an unexpected luxury. I've bookmarked this spot for the future.

Spectacular location and Kay is wonderful as well. She is really attentive and never intrusive. It is clear that she wants to make sure her guests have everything they need to enjoy a great camping experience. We will be back.

Beautiful location! Between the soaring Mountain View’s and river access, this is a perfectly serene spot to camp. Kay was very attentive, but not disruptive, and helped us acclimate quickly when we arrived. We will come back again.
