Camping in a gorgeous garden.
Renee was so kind and helpful. The space was lovely and so pretty. Would definitely return.

super nice host
Yes there is a train, and yes its annoying, but it IS stated in the description so if you didn't know before you got there that's your fault. We were in a pinch looking for a spot after our hotel turned out to be a dirty hell hole and the host Rene was super nice and accommodating. We felt very safe here (we left out gear out overnight), were able to get a hot shower and cook on the bbq.

Rene is an outstanding host and all you need to do is ask and she helps. The creek and train are enchanting. There a lot of traffic noise from the street which i

Hosts were incredibly accommodating and great to communicate with. The location was easy to get to and we felt safe. My only complaints are that it was a bit dirty from other campers not really adhering to the guidelines set by the host, and the occasional train passing was a bit loud. I'd stay again in the area if I need to!

Trains, Planes, and Cars
Rene was super great and welcoming. There are outlets you can use, good reception, a creek with paddle equipment, and easy to get to the site. She offered us to pick fresh berries and use of the cooking equipment.
There's also a big love seat that we sat in the entire afternoon.
We did end up leaving at 2:30am the first night though despite booking 2 nights. The site is right next to a train crossing that comes quite often. When the train passes, the horn is deafening and disrupts any conversation. Unforunately, it doesn't stop at night. It's also next to a busy road and we heard cars and people talking on the road or nearby (not on Rene's property) all night. We also heard several loud planes overhead as it seems they are near an airfield. There was no chance of sleep and it was pretty miserable moving in the night and then having to go back for our tent.
Basically not her fault at all, but just a product of the location.

Beautiful, but kind the train.
The backyard was beautiful and you’re right down the road from a bridge with a beautiful view of Mount rainier. The train tracks are literally right next to the house. I am not a light sleeper and it definitely woke me up. I would recommend a good set of earplugs for anyone staying here unless you want a 5am alarm!

Rene is a wonderful person, she was very attentive and went out of her way to make sure my kids were having a great time! Kayaking was fun my kids did not want to get out of the water until dark. Thank you Rene!!!

No privacy and very overcrowded
My friend and I have used Hipcamp multiple times and this was our first bad experience. This site is backyard next to the train tracks. We are very deep sleepers and struggled all night as the train passes through the intersection next the the site multiple times an hour for 3-5mins each time. Not only does it make the ground shake, but due to the intersection it has to honk its horn the entire time. There are also lights all over the site that never turn off at night. We were not able to sleep and if we had any other option we would have slept anywhere else. This listing states that can accommodate up to 50 campers but for the two nights that we were camping here there were approximately 20 campers including ourselves. Tents were everywhere with zero privacy. There were campers having fires just two feet away from our tents. There is not enough room for parking with the drive way. With so many campers and cars, it's easy to get blocked in, not allowing you to leave easily. The kitchen is just a grill under a tent and the shower is a bunch of shower curtains closed together with clothes pins next to the tents, providing no privacy. Also pet-owners be aware that no animals are on leash, the host's included (who are not fixed). The host seemed nice and to be doing what she could to make the place run but this listing should only be for one or two groups maximum.

This ended up not being quite what we were expecting. Not much space, and no privacy from other campers. We had the backup option of crashing with some friends during our weekend in the area so we ended up doing that instead. Just a personal preference.
The creek did look nice and peaceful, and the host seemed very nice.

We had a great time camping at Rene's property! Other campers and people who do maintenence were extremely nice and the place is gorgeous. Rene was extremely hospitable and offered us so many more amenities than any other regular campsite or hipcamp site I had been to! We happened to forget a folding table and she just let us use one of hers! Make sure to pack in and pack out, and it's pretty close to a train that goes by a couple times in the early night (I believe before 10 or 11 anyway) and maybe once in the morning, but otherwise it was a really awesome stay and the creek was absolutely gorgeous!

Rene is a super accommodating and welcoming host.
She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and to help us with every question and concern.
Her back yard is beautiful and was heaven for the kids, paddling the creek was fun, lots of comfy chairs all around.
Shower and potty are more to the nature side of things haha

Creekside Wonderland!
Absolutely loved camping at Rene’s!! The property is stunning and so beautifully cared for, lovely flat spots for a tent next to the creek and tons of amenities provided (not to mention two of the cutest dogs I’ve ever seen). We were planning on spending the night in Seattle but loved the property so much we just made a night out of barbecuing there! Rene was so sweet and provided anything we could need, I only wish we could have stayed longer! Will definitely be back if I’m in the area again.

Beautiful grassy site, but next to
The site was beautiful, tent was on grass and was pretty being right next to the creek. The host was also very nice. The kids also enjoyed the time with her dogs.
Unfortunately the toilet was completely full and unusable when we were there. If you are wanting a quiet site I recommend staying somewhere else. We were woken up by every train that passed in the night (roughly 4 of them).
Clark's creek Camping
The spot was beautiful but it really is so close to multiple train tracks that it wakes you up in the night. Even the best ear plugs and noise cancelling headphones aren't powerful enough to cover that sound up! I can see this spot being great for a big group but it just wasn't what we needed this time. Rene was very nice and accommodating. However, the timing of our camping was unfortunately too early for this year because it was very wet and cold. We ended up leaving after the first night for an AirBnb.

Great time @ Rene's
Rene was an awesome host, her place by the river is great & very peaceful. She has lots of touchful touches @ the site (solar lights, rock path to bathroom, furniture, etc). Very close to Puyallup & Tacoma.

We were in town for a local artist's market and stayed here for -- regrettably -- only one night. Rene was so incredibly kind and accommodating, I'm sad to say the market was a wash but our stay here made up for the trip. This property is gorgeous, quaint and definitely feels like a remote fairyland getaway (up until you hear the blast of the train's horn at night LOL). If I ever find myself in the area again, I'd be delighted to stay here again.
