Beautiful cozy farmland with friendly goats. Angie was a great host, keeping us informed of the windstorm coming through and cleared the space of fallen branches. Outhouse was clean and the fire pit worked well. Loved it! :D

Beautiful piece of property, very well maintained. I loved having the farm animals around but still feeling secluded. We were the only people who stayed overnight. The goats were so sweet and loved to be pet! Both owners were wonderful to work with!

Not exactly as advertised. It's basically a backyard within full view of their home and their neighbors. Outdoor lights were on all night. Road traffic, brush clearing, and machinery sounds are audible all day. The outhouse smelled bad and the odor filled up the whole campsite. It is next door to the airfield but that actually wasn't too bad. Might be an issue around holidays. The goats were absolutely wonderful which was the main draw for us. The owners were very chill and hardly spoke to us, so extra star for that. The kids were free to explore and be kids. Overall, kinda meh, but it worked as a basecamp to explore Whidbey. Will keep searching for a better one. Owners might consider putting in mixed planting hedgerows between the house and camp area for extra privacy and nature feel.

Okay for a pass through stay to meet minimal needs. It’s definitely someone’s backyard (1/2 acre?) with too many sites for the limited amount of space. Served our needs but we won’t be back.

We had a great time camping at Angie’s land. Angie let the boys play with and feed the goats, and they had a lot of fun. The site is clean and quiet. Roosters call early in the morning but we were not bothered. The location is close to multiple state parks. Beautiful landscape and seascape.

Great spacious and clean spot! We reserved spot B, the largest lot, and had plenty of space for cars, people and our tents. The host was respectful and friendly and the animals roaming the grounds were just the cutest. A short drive to town which had an art festival occurring. Overall lots of fun and good times :) Would recommend

Spot B was wonderful and family friendly! My toddler loved visiting the goats and chickens during the day. The site was very accessible and clean. It was also a great middle spot for traveling throughout the island. Look forward to camping here again!

What a great place for a family camping trip! The site is on a large field with beautiful tall trees that provide shade where you need it. The rest of the field gives plenty of space for running around and playing. My kid loved being able to say hello to the goats and chickens. The site is close to lots of things on the island. Would definitely go back here

The place is spacious but it lacked atmosphere. The facilities were poorly maintained and not clean. And the picnictable hardly deserved the name , it wasn’t even possible to sit with the whole family. The welcome was also not very friendly. We left after one night instead of two.

The property was lovely with cherries to pick, goats to pet, and chickens. My daughter absolutely loved being able to roam around and visit the animals. The planes were definitely loud the first night which wasn’t ideal but the site itself was lovely and the hosts were very kind and accommodating.

We had a wonderful stay here. The campsite is peaceful, spacious, and well maintained. The outhouse is exactly what you’d expect—clean and functional. The highlight for us was definitely the friendly farm animals, especially the goats and chickens wandering nearby.
Do note that there’s a rooster who likes to greet the morning with enthusiasm, and the site is close to a naval airfield. On some days, the jets can get quite loud, especially during landing approaches. I’d recommend checking the airfield schedule if you’re sensitive to noise.
That said, the overall experience was lovely, and I’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We loved camping at Angie’s Hipcamp for a birthday camp weekend!!!! It was the perfect site for a group camp out and a great private spot on Whidbey while being close to so many activities. The outhouse was just a pit toilet with no sanitizer or sink. It worked for our short stay but it would have been nice to have a better bathroom and water facilities if we were there longer.
The hosts brought the goats out during our visit! Thank you for making our time on the island so special :)

The sites are spacious, nice fire pit + table and site C has a great view of the horses and goats. Directions were spot on and great central location to check out Whidbey. Pit toilet was as expected, and we were happy to have brought water although there's potable well water available.

The host was very responsive - thank you! The site was not as private as expected - no signage and the porta potty was dismal. Overall we were happy to have a spot to park our van but felt site was over-priced and not well maintained.

Our inaugural trip of "Moms and Babies Go Camping" couldn't have picked a much better spot for a mid-week, chaos camp trip.
Our four barely walking toddlers fit right in with the often free-range goats (the goats might have been better listeners) and loved the big open spaces to run around become feral children.
We camped at Campsite B, which was very close to the composting toilet and under enough canopy of trees that on the warm days, we were still comfortable and shaded.
We all spent most of the time barefoot - note there there are a few thistles kicking around but nothing that deterred us or ground heigh babies from having a great time - or from putting our shoes back on.
A close drive into Coupeville for great coffee and some local PNW vibes.
The vibe was warm and welcoming and we had a really lovely time!

Five acres (estimate) of grass with tall trees and a lot of quiet. Perfection. They’ll warn you about the roosters and they’re doing their thing, but that didn’t bother us. Kelly had the dwarf goats out for a roam and we got to say hi. This property is a minute from the Keystone beach, three minutes to Fort Casey and a leisurely 10 minutes to Coupeville. It’s a wonderful spot. Even if there were campers in every spot (I think they have four), you would still have 30x more room than in a campground. We had a great weekend. Highly recommend.

A peaceful camping spot. Quiet and well-kept. I woke to see a horse looking over at me from the paddock next door. Make sure to say hi to the goats. Angie was an excellent host.

Great spot! Very quiet and level, directions to get there were easy to follow. Only “complaint” was the rooster at 2am, but that was honestly a selling point for us! We loved the farm animals, grateful for the bathroom, and loved the location. Don’t miss stopping in Coupeville, one of the sweetest towns we’ve ever been to.

My partner and I really enjoyed campsite C, you get to set up right next door to their neighbors horses. It was very roomy. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, offering to set up a water spigot if we needed. If youre looking to camp on the islands this is a great spot

What a special property Angie and Kelly have created. I was only able to stay for a night but will definitely be back. The space was impeccably kept - feeling both secure and delightfully wild all at the same time.
Having spent many nights at several properties offered by other hosts, I’m so greatful to found this spot. I’ll be back!
