Frog Creek Meadow is an amazing camping area. Views are amazing and the area is so quiet and peaceful. The star gazing was so good! Don is a great host and was so great to communicate with. The fresh eggs were so yummy. I highly recommend this HipCamp. We will definitely be revisiting Frog Creek Meadow.

Beautiful peaceful meadow

We loved the meadow to camp in. Two does and three fawns visited us each morning and evening. One morning, they stayed for several hours eating, playing and resting. The mountains, trees and mists of fog also added to a charming stay at Don's land. We were in a campervan and it got pretty cold at night over Labor day weekend but the days were nice, warm, but not overly warm. We had a delightful stay!

We loved this campsite. The host was very friendly and helpful. We stayed at several NPS campsites leading up to this and it was a welcome change to be somewhere so quiet and peaceful. Great views of the mountains and the stars at night.

Amazing spot!!! Beautiful view, mountains, hills, meadows…fabulous star watching! Our first trip with our camper, and our battery died. Don was so great, he went and got a generator and helped us out. We came in late and couldn’t see which campsite was which, so we ended up in the wrong campsite, but all in all, fabulous trip!

What a great place to camp, sitting at the foothills of Deer Park in the Olympics. Open field, spread out campsites, beautiful views, off the beaten path and the host was warm and friendly. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. I recommend it highly especially if you want to avoid the crowds at Hurricane Ridge

Quiet with good location.

Nice, well-kept meadow camping. Large open space with nice views. Not a lot of visual privacy, but sites are very spread out with picnic table and fire pit. Clean port-a Johns for camper use. Didn’t see potable water source. Quiet at night. Very convenient location to access Deer Park campground and trailheads.

Stargazer Heaven

I camped here with my 3 kids to watch the Perseids and it was just perfect. Don brought bubbles over for the kids and checked in to make sure we were good throughout the stay. The property is beautiful and perfect for stargazers. We shared the space with local deer families that walked through periodically, along with a friendly bullfrog that hung out for a while. It was a magical trip and we will for sure be back!

Early morning views from the tent!

Site 4 Northwest Meadow

We got here before the weekend rush and the views were amazing. Each morning and night the deer came out, and we even watched two young fawns with the zoomies playing together. Don was a great host and brought us farm fresh eggs in the morning, which were great with our breakfast. He left goodies for the kiddos to play with, which was a source of great fun and laughter during the evenings.

We had a wonderful experience at Frog Creek Meadow! The hosts were so welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience (including some bubbles and frisbees for the kids to use while there). The views were spectacular, especially for sunrise, sunset, and stargazing. Highly recommend!

Excellent place. Don was so incredibly friendly. We were the only campers there (midweek trip) so it was nice and quiet. Lots of wildlife, fantastic scenery, and each camping area had lots of space. Love and will be back!

This was our second stay at frog creek meadow and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time! Even when the camp is full, sites are far enough apart that it feels private and relaxing. The host brought smores kits and bubbles for the kids which was a fun surprise that we all enjoyed. I can’t recommend frog creek meadow enough, we will be back!

We loved camping on Don’s land! It was super serene and peaceful. The area was very private and the camping spot was clean and managed well! We even had a momma and two baby deer visit was while we were eating dinner! Don met us when we arrived and welcomed us to our spot with his awesome classic car!

This was a beautiful spot. It’s called deer park around there for a reason. We saw so many come up the side of the mountain and walk among the camps. So peaceful. Don was excellent and even brought bubbles for the kids. I will say for only having portables and no power I think it was a bit much for a tent site but very glad we went.

Dons property felt safe, secluded, and very well maintained. The spaces are far apart and allow lots of room for kids to run around without disturbing others. We were able to see two adorable baby deer throughout our stay which only added to the charm and overall experience. We have already booked our next stay!

I spent the weekend at Don’s property and absolutely loved it. The location is stunning, tucked away in nature and incredibly peaceful. The campsite was spotless, well-maintained, and offered the perfect escape from city noise. Don was a fantastic host, kind, welcoming, and super accommodating. He made sure we had everything we needed and made the whole experience even better. I’d definitely come back for another stay!

Peaceful with mountain views

I booked site 3 for car camping and found it so peaceful. Every morning I was greeted by grazing deer. Beautiful location with great views. The porta potties were very clean and the hand sanitizer station inside each (two total) were full. I booked this location because I couldn't get a campsite in Olympic National Park and the drive was not far. There's a fire ring ready for a bonfire and Don will sell firewood and fresh eggs on request. There are about 7 campsites on this property, but I was the only camper for one of my two nights (an RV pulled in to a site on my first night only). I would definitely consider booking this property again.
