Sleeping in Rachel and Joe's greenhouse is an experience not to be missed! Really special to wake up with the plants, and Rachel was available for any question we had. Thanks for a sweet stay!

We loved sleeping in the greenhouse in Belfair and the wonderful warm smell of flowers and fresh vegetables growing nearby. The hosts were very accommodating with extra perks like the use of the dining/kitchen area in the greenhouse as well. Location is a little tricky to find so be sure to get good directions.

Rachel and Joe have created a true sanctuary. There is love in every detail of their beautiful property, but what's more, they extended so much care and kindest to me. That of which I will never forget. I thanked Rachel for opening up their homestead to others to which she replied, "I just know we've been given so much and I love sharing it!" Their property is a true labor of love. The history of their revitalization of the property is one that can only be admired. I've never felt so welcomed and cared for by folks I've never met before. I will definitely visit again and hope to make it a regular place I find solace and respite. Their generosity will stay with me forever. I'm so grateful for my time spent at their beautiful sanctuary. Thank you so very much, Rachel and Joe. I will be back in the spring. ♡

Rachel & Joe are so hospitable and gracious. I was even greeted with a hug! Joe helped me out with a lost cellphone emergency without complaint. Thanks for that! My stay was amazing and the greenhouse space is beautiful and comforting, not to mention the beautiful bountiful flowers blooming. I would recommend highly. Thanks Joe & Rachel! You’ll be seeing Myles and me again!

We had a quick but great trip! The property was big and had so many cute areas to explore. Rachel was super inviting and made sure we had everything we needed. This place is a must stay!

Sleep in our greenhouse!
We had a lovely stay in the greenhouse! My nine-year-old loved the baby ducks and kittens, I loved all the flowers in bloom, and we both enjoyed the trails and watching the stars come out. Our hosts made sure we had everything we needed. This was our second time and we plan to come back again!

We had such I nice time and I already want to plan a return trip with a longer stay! A nice mix of nature and comfort. It was a pretty warm weekend when we stayed but once the sun went down it was a pleasant temp with the ceiling fan on. We loved seeing the flowers and walking down the river trail.

Rachel and Joe were such lovely people and their property was even more special. The greenhouse was absolutely breathtaking and brimming with beautiful greenery, you absolutely need to stay here! She welcomed our nervous dog and had fresh cut flowers in the room for us. The dining area is well equipped with extra goods if you need and there is so much room to explore. The bed and room were so comfortable and waking up to the view of poppies and flowers was such a dream. I could not recommend staying here more, it is a gem and such a special place. Thank you Joe and Rachel!

Amazing trip! Rachel and Joe were so lovely and were quick to welcome us with warm smiles and invite us into their little community for the night. Loved the marsh walk at night and seeing what is to come in the future. Will be back soon!

Sleep in our greenhouse!
We loved our stay in the greenhouse. The bedroom was so comfy with a lovely view of flowers. The kitchenette (which is actually in the greenhouse) had a large table with bowls, silverware, etc. There was also a “living room” with a hammock, armchairs, and games. Their land is lovely, and the hosts are great.

One of my favorite places I have ever stayed! We visited when there was still a little snow on the ground, but between the heater and blankets, we were toasty warm. Some of my favorite things: dining room and little kitchen, covered fireplace area, tiled floors, outdoor sink, hammock, smell of the dirt and tiny shoots of green peeking through, walk to the river, and ALL the little touches!

This was my first stay with hipcamp, and it was excellent. Joe and Rachel are so welcoming and kind, with a lovely property they clearly enjoy and put work into. I stayed in their greenhouse room for only a night and would happily stay there again! My stay was during the first week of November- the greenhouse was pleasantly warm and still had many plants, and though it cooled off at night the heater provided was more than enough to keep the room warm. The hammocks in the greenhouse are a great place to sit and enjoy an evening, and my dog and I enjoyed exploring the property. Overall a lovely experience with great hosts!

Had a wonderful time staying with Joe and Rachel, they are so kind, welcoming, and accommodating! I loved being so close to all the green growing things. Even though it got chilly outside, I was nice and cozy since they provide plenty of snuggly blankets, an electric kettle for tea, and a heater in the bedroom. There is also a lovely outdoor fireplace sitting area and a simple kitchen space with a microwave, panini press, and fridge. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat where you can go back to basics, this is the place for you!

Rachel & Joe are two of the kindest people we've ever met. Their land is amazing with a beautiful room, greenhouse, animals and plants but their hospitality is what made it such a perfect stay. Joe & Rachel saved us from a flat bike tire fiasco, shared food from their pizza oven and showed us all the methods that support their small scale farming. We can't wait to come back and learn more.

Wow. What can I say? This place is a GEM. Rachel and Joe are such kind, open folks. Their greenhouse is straight up magical. The quirky details in the make of the space make it feel like home. The bed was very comfortable and the ambience is on point- there were blooming passion fruit flowers surrounding the room. There's a communal outdoor area, a dining room with appliances, a toilet and sink with delicious well water and two friendly cats! There's are hiking trails up to the top of the hill and one down to the creek with a rope swing. I almost hate to leave such a review- I will have comptetition for my next visit!

Lovely location, quiet and relaxing. The hosts were very pleasant and the 2 resident kitties even allowed us to pet them. :) would probably be most enjoyable during the growing/blooming season but it was very nice even this late. Don't forget to take a swing on the rope swing by the river!

This place exceeded our expectations in every way (and they were already high based on photos and reviews!) Sleeping in the greenhouse was a fairy-tale experience with a treasure & surprise around every corner: flowers, twinkle lights, antiques, outdoor sitting area, trail to the creek with swing, fresh tomatoes, charming cats... the place is sheer delight.

This was the loveliest spot for a few days of rest, reading, and reflection. Joe and Rachel were such warm, welcoming hosts, and the greenhouse room was beautiful. It was an absolute delight to wake up to all the flowers and greenhouse air each morning. I loved all the cozy spots to get lost in a book. The short hike to the river is not to be missed! I hope to return here again some time!
