Conveniently located just 2.2 miles from I-5 is 10 acres of beautiful farm land with Beaver creek running through it. There are trees, open playing fields, volleyball net, play yard with trampoline and rope swings, pond with adjacent sand play area, deck and fire pit. *WINTER DISCOUNT CODE FOR Sept. 3 - Feb. 28: LANWXUNS We offer full hook-ups (water, sewer, 30 amp electricity) for 7 RV spots also great for tents. Also, Site 8 is for a tent or RV without hook-ups. Site 9 is for tents only. We welcome your furry friends. Please count them as a person when booking, keep dogs on a leash. Hot outdoor showers are available to campers mid March through mid October. There is one composting toilet near the volleyball field. Wildlife likely to be seen: black-tailed deer, raccoons, grey squirrels, rabbits, opossum, various birds, frogs and crawdads.

I arrived late and left early and didn't explore the amenities of the campsite. It was very convenient to the freeway, and there was no traffic noise. The directions were perfect - Google maps found it just fine.

We enjoyed camping at Deerhaven. It was very quiet and peaceful. The hookups worked great. They also have nice outdoor showers. It was a good overnight stop for us.

Me and my Girl Scout troop had a blast. It was very spacious and open. The kids had so much fun (and left us alone the whole time) . The showers were clean and as pictured. We had a wonderful time. The owners were there when we needed them. The kids had so many activities they were never bored.

Linda greeted us and showed us to the campsite when we arrived. Really beautiful property and cool creek in the back. Trampoline, zip line, swings were all super fun for the kids and us! We were at site 1 which is at the front of the property. The site was very clean and easy to hook up to. I think we were the only campers except for the last night so it was very peaceful and quiet. We had a great experience and would definitely go back.

Camping and surrounding area
Sites are spaced so you feel like you are camping. Fairly quite. Kids love the Zip-line, trampoline, and playing in the large yard. Showers are extra big and nice. Showers are behind house and not easy to find. Close to the Capital Forest and quite a few nice hiking trails. Millerslyvania State Park is also very close by and a wonderful place for many activities.
