WELCOME TO COUGAR, WASHINGTON Located in the small quaint town of Cougar, Washington, on the south side of Mt. St. Helens, a paradise for the outdoor enthusiasts, you will find Cougar RV Park & Campground. There are four popular lakes within 20 miles or less of the park for fishing and water sports. The Ape Caves, the third longest lava tube in the United States, is just a short 8 miles away in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest; as well as the Climbers Bivouac Trailhead. The forest also offers ample outdoor opportunities: camping, fishing, hunting, caving/spelunking, OHV trails, horseback riding trails, hiking trails, mushroom and huckleberry picking, snowshoeing and snowmobiling are just a few of the many activities nearby that make this park a great “base camp” for all your outdoor adventures! There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about us and the wonderful recreation opportunities around us. We hope you enjoy our site. ACCOMMODATIONS •FULL HOOKUP RV SITE Most full hookup sites are pull-through with either 30 amp or 50 amp electrical service and can accommodate the largest RV. •PARTIAL HOOKUP RV SITES Most partial hookup sites are pull-through with 30 amp electrical service and can accommodate an RV up to 40 feet (plus large vehicle). •TENT SITES Most tent sites are large and can accommodate 2-4 tents with 2 to 3 vehicles. Some tent sites are large enough to accommodate an RV (for dry camping, no hookups; generators allowed) or boat. •DRY CABIN - BUNK STYLE PETS ALLOWED! There are two bunk cabins. Each bunk cabin has two sets of bunk beds (one set with twin bunks; one set with a full on bottom and twin on top), electricity, no plumbing/no water, heater, fan, fire pit, picnic table and covered porch. There is potable/drinking water right outside the cabin and restrooms across from the cabin (with hot showers). Bedding/Pillows are not provided. •DRY CABIN - BARN STYLE NO PETS ALLOWED! There is one barn cabin. The cabin has two queen log beds, electricity, no plumbing/no water, heater, fan, microwave, fire pit, picnic table and covered porch. There is potable/drinking water right outside the cabin and restrooms across from the cabin (with hot showers). Bedding/Pillows are not provided. •RUSTIC CABIN - NO PETS ALLOWED! There is one rustic cabin. The cabin has one queen beds and one twin bunk bed, kitchenette (small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and hot plate), full bathroom (shower only), heater, fan, fire pit, picnic table and covered porch. Bedding/Pillows are not provided. •CHALET CABIN - NO PETS ALLOWED! There is one chalet cabin. There is one queen log bed (just like home). The loft has two twin mattresses. No utilities (no plumbing/water, no electricity), potable/drinking water is across from the cabin. There is a fire pit and the large deck has log furniture and patio table/chairs. Restrooms with hot showers onsite. Bedding/Pillows are not provided.
