This peaceful RV site sits on the banks of Coal Creek and borders the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. The site includes full hookups—50, 30, and 20 Amp service, water, septic, and Wi-Fi—for a comfortable and connected stay. A covered gazebo overlooks the creek, offering a cozy outdoor dining space illuminated by warm Edison lights. Guests can also enjoy evenings around a freestanding outdoor fire pit—relaxing under the stars.🛻 RV Accommodation: The site is spacious and relatively level, making it suitable for accommodating an additional RV if you'd like to invite a guest. Please note that there is only one electrical hookup, which includes 50, 30, and 20 amp circuits. A single water hydrant is available and can be split for shared use. There is also one septic dump access point. 🌲 Outdoor Features A gazebo with a picnic table and Edison string lights overlooks Coal Creek, offering a peaceful and scenic spot to relax. There is also a freestanding outdoor fireplace—perfect for cozy evenings. Firewood is available for purchase in town. 💦 Waterfall Access The nearby waterfall can be reached by hiking upstream along Coal Creek (approximately 40 minutes) or via the Timberland Trail. Both routes are moderately challenging and offer beautiful views along the way. 🏘️ Town of Packwood: Located about 3.5 miles south, the town of Packwood offers a few restaurants, a hardware store, gas stations, and two breweries that often feature live music and food trucks. 🏔️ Mt. Rainier Access: Mount Rainier is approximately 20 minutes from the site. Take Highway 12 to Highway 123 ("Cayuse Pass") and head north until you reach the Stevens Canyon entrance, which leads to Paradise and the visitor center. During peak season, reservations may be required, or you’ll need to arrive early in the morning for entry.
