Near North Cascades National Park
Within a 30-minute drive from the North Cascades National Park Wilderness Information Center.
Chom's RV Campground staff have been working on an extensive remodel, so bare with us as we are new here too! Camping is unaffected as there are plenty of woods to explore here. Only the initial appearance of the old laundry(to be restored in near future), might send confusion. The bathrooms are completely ready to use and we have hot showers! Also, we just finished making an amazing nature walk along the river, where you can find blackberries, huckleberries, salmon berries, and even apples, (depending on the time of year). There are birds to watch, among many other types of wildlife. I will be adding more pictures of more campsites soon!

You will find the letter C sign posted at the beginning of this trail. Our great friend, Christy, created these campsites with her unique vision and love for camping. If you like the woods, this is the best choice for you. Each site has parking and plenty of room for a few tents. There is a short walking distance from the bathrooms and showers. When you arrive, we will usually be around the office, but if not, a map will be provided for you(somewhere obvious) I will edit this post as we finish each area of the plan for this exciting place.

"Camp D1" Back river trail

This is the most peaceful campsite, situated right next to the walk along the river trail, there is a drop about 20 feet or so, we ask you to please bring adults only to this one. It is also the farthest from the bathroom and closest to the power lines. The pictures will speak for the beauty of this camp. We will be adding more sites to Camp D as they become available.

Nice sites but didn’t hear from the host until the next day when I got lost. There were also people partying all night with associated loud music and shouting that was less than ideal to sleep through. Otherwise it was nice having showers.

I enjoyed my stay at Chom’s RV site! I was only there for 1 night but the hosts were very accommodating in guiding me to my campsite even with my late arrival. Thanks so much!

Clean Restrooms, Quiet Location

The property was exactly how it was described and well marked sites. Very responsive and present hosts. The site was easy to pull into and extremely private. Completely dark and quiet so perfect for sleeping. The restroom was the cleanest, brightest one I've experienced in any campground. It's a little tricky walk from the C and D tent sites at night so I just drove over, parked right in front. The hot water takes a few minutes but it gets very hot and stays hot. There are multiple stalls and two showers so unlikely having to wait. A great surprise on a chilly morning was that the restroom is heated! I would stay here again, it's perfect for a few nights, and 30 minutes to multiple hiking trails. Less than 1 hour to the Cascade Pass trailhead (most of that drive is primitive road so it's slow). Also only about 15-20 minutes from Cement which has a few or restaurants.

This was a nice place to tent/car camp. My wife and I felt safe here. The campsite was clean and well-cleared with lots of tree cover. The bath house had plenty of toilets and the showers had incredible water pressure. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The property location was very easy to find, right off the main road, and very close to lots of hiking trails. No complaints.

Camped for the night before backpacking trip in North Cascades. Solid spot just west of Marblemount. Cleared areas in the woods toward the back of the property with bathrooms and showers available. Would stay again for short duration. No complaints - all went well!

Tent camping site was a bit basic. But this did not really deter me. Clean bathrooms and showers are a plus.

Camp ground was easy to find. They were still doing some renovating on the property so we had trouble knowing where to go at first but were quickly helped out and pointed in the direction of the site. Road to site was very wooded and could get muddy if it rains so take care if you don't have a raised vehicle. All in all great quiet spot to camp for the night

Lots of space to set up camp- you're able to see the sun rise and set over the mountains which is lovely. The bathroom was well maintained and Nicole was very helpful

Good place to camp with our van. Large spots that are fairly private. Clean facilities including hot showers. Convenient to the national park.

"Camp D1" Back river trail
The campground is super quiet and totally private. We couldn’t see any other campers from the site. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet affordable place close to cascades national park!

This is an awesome, quiet, no frills spot. We were met at the entrance and were guided directly to our site, which was nicely mowed and flat, secluded near the riverbank (no river access, but very pretty). So many blackberries for the picking. The owner even delivered free firewood and kindling to our site! No picnic table, electricity, or water at our site, but the bathhouse was a 5 minute walk away, very clean and even free showers. Thanks, and we’ll definitely be back!

Tent sites were very overgrown and difficult to access. Therefore quite private though - so I guess it’s a trade off. The host was extremely kind.

Loved the site. Camping area was secluded we couldn't see or hear anyone else. And a short walk away there was a super clean bathroom. Great hiking paths and plenty to explore. The stars were gorgeous!

Great place to stay on the way to the North Cascades National Park. We arrived late, around 11pm, and there was a map waiting at the office for us. The tent campsite was a bit hard to find in the dark, but we managed. Bathrooms were clean. The area is quiet and the view of the evening stars was great!

I loved tent camping here! They’re doing renovations now but still have good facilities and are super helpful. Very kind people.

The owners are quite lovely and very good at communicating. They are working on lots of renovations and they have spots for RVs and campers and car campers. Bathrooms are great. Definitely recommend.

Coming from southwest WA, we were looking for a place to stay the night before a big hike in the North Cascade. This site was perfect! We arrived after dark, stayed the night and left before sunrise. Enjoyed the nice clean bathrooms and access to water while we were there. Would stay again!
