Love this cabin! There are so many great amenities + a lot of fun things to do nearby! My dog Chief loves exploring here and the cedar river trail which is right next to the site!

My family of four (plus dog) slept comfortably in the cabin, which was really more comfortable that we expected. The fire pit was great, and the clearing around the cabin felt very private. We would go again.

Great little escape

Nice little cabin close to Seattle but away from the hustle. My wife and I decided on the day of our stay to get away from the city. Booking was smooth and the area was well maintained. The trail is nearby and is probably best for bikers as it’s good for bike riding as opposed to scenic walking views. This cabin was comfortable and there is a creek behind it with chirping frogs. Read the fine print and don’t forget to bring your own bedding. We had a great night away and all was smooth and we enjoyed our day/night.

The definition of cozy

Cedar River Cabin is the very definition of cozy. With a heater, mini-fridge, microwave and bottled water, it was hardly roughing it. Yet the setting is quiet, close to the Cedar River trail and full of birdsong. The mattress was actually comfortable! It’s the perfect spot to escape the sounds and pace of the city and so convenient. I will definitely be back.

Cozy private spot!

I had a great time here! I was traveling by myself to escape the city for a couple of days, it was a quick trip less than an hour from Seattle. The property is really well cared for, great fire pit and covered picnic table area. The cabin was really cozy and private, while still being close to trails and a pretty well stocked grocery if you forgot something on the way.

Brittany's spot was my second Hipcamp experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one! The directions were easy to get to, the place was fairly quiet with the occasional place and low hum of the highway, and Brittany was quick to communicate. My dog and I were lucky to have the hill to ourselves so we wandered through the trees for a brisk after meal walk. Overall, it was a perfect evening of relxation away from the bustle of the city. Highly recommend :)

This was a great spot. Location was unbeatable with proximity to Seattle, amazing pizza, and the walking trail. The cabin and grounds were super nice and cozy. Would definitely come back.

Brittany’s a very responsive host, answers messages promptly. She even offered a courtesy night when we couldn't make our original booking + sleeping to the sounds of rain while surrounded by lush greenery provides an extra layer of privacy. Beautiful and peaceful campsite, would recommend.

Well equipped cabin

I had a lovely time at this off grid cabin. It was the perfect layover spot on my way down to mount rainier national park and the cabin was incredibly well equipped. I’d highly recommend this stay

Such a lovely place within a short distance of Seattle!! Loved all the tall trees, privacy, and easy hikes to the trail and river. While reading quietly at the RV site, a gorgeous bobcat casually strolled past me!! So much relaxation and communion with nature that we all badly need!!

My family and I loved staying here for the weekend. The property was beautiful and the area was so peaceful. Seemed like the Cabin was well stocked with anything you may have forgotten from home, definitely had some unforgettable memories during this trip and spending it at this cabin just made it better. Peaceful campsite near the city

Camping site is quite close to Seattle. 40mins drive. Trail was good too. I was able to take my fwd sedan to the camp site. In case you forget to being anything then walmart is 15 mins away. Quite peaceful and felt like I was way inside the wilderness even while staying 5mins drive away from the city.

We loved this site. It has a wonderful rails to trail path. Th Cedar river is beautiful and the camp has great seclusion but is within 50 minutes of downtown Seattle. We plan to return.

Cedar River Cabin

Quaint setting, tucked away just enough to allow yourself to disconnect, the Cedar River Cabin is perfect for a couple or small family (and the dog!) The site has a picnic table under a pavilion as well as a nearby outhouse equipped with a luggable loo. The fire pit was large and we were able to build some great fires. Inside the cabin there was a bunk bed and a loft bed. There was a comfortable chair for reading, corkscrew, can opener and some silverware and cutlery as well as several family games! Be prepared to bring your own cooking supplies, bedding, bug repellent and firewood. As of writing this, the host does offer firewood for a small fee but we recommend having backup! I spent two nights here and got to experience the site on both a sunny day and rainy day and I would recommend both the Summer and off season for experiencing the cabin! Nearby is Cedar River Trail and Cedar River if need to get around. Although we did never figure out how to get to the river bank from nearby the camp location. Overall, great experience. Thank you!

We enjoyed our 2 nights at the cabin! It's a cute space. We didn't realize how close the cabin would be to the trail as well as the home on the property. Privacy was not the best - possibly some more foliage on both sides would go a long way to making it feel more secluded.

Splendid

I’ll keep it simple… this Hipcamp was above and beyond expectations. The smell of cedar wood when I walked in the door had me at “hello”. Communication with the host Brittany was so cordial and hospitable. Clearly, she has put thought and care into providing this amazing space. I highly recommend utilizing this location. Thank you!
