Cardinal's Camp is an ideal spot for small RV's and campers to come and relax in a country setting. We have a gorgeous covered area and deck with propane mini BBQ and bench seating, full water and 30 amp power hook-ups, and beautiful views of the surrounding farm fields and a one hundred year old barn (PLEASE don't access the barn area or fields, it's not ours but the views are great!) Lots to do around the area, including Finnriver Cidery, hiking in the Olympic Mountains and the Victorian town of Port Townsend. We now have decent wifi you can use, so option to come and work remotely! (Unfortunately we don't have tons of space for kids or dogs to run around, but definitely plenty of nice grassy area to set up tents, yard games and a campfire). Our site includes wifi, picnic table, and potable water. Campfires (outside of a burn ban) and pets permitted! However we do have free-roaming chickens (ask us about fresh eggs!) so leashed up or chicken-friendly dogs please. Guests love staying here: "Gorgeous spot to sit, relax and take in the sunset across the farm fields before tucking in. We visited for one night with a 10.5’ tall camper van rented from Cabana, which fit easily under the shelter with plenty of clearance. The shelter itself is a great spot to get outside and eat a meal, and the rocking chairs in the yard were chill too! An occasional loud truck will go by on the nearby road, but not bad. We slept fine. This place is great! The bistro lights and little porch make it a really sweet spot. And it’s right across the street from Finn River.

Loved Cardinal’s Camp!

The little shelter they have created is wonderful. There’s a marine style barbeque you can use, and electricity and water. I love the chickens running around! There’s a little bit of road noise from Center Road, but I did not find it to be a problem. The vistas across the valley and the west are quite pretty. It’s so nice to be within walking distance of Finn River and Chimacum Corner Farmstand. There are several other places you can walk to nearby for food. I will definitely come back!

Cardinal's Camp♥️🌾

The covered deck is awesome. I loved having water, electricity, and wifi. This was my first foray into camping-while-working; every time we camp, my brain just thinks: vacation! I was so glad to be able to get my work done, and then enjoy the lovely setting. Thanks to Chris’s kids for the eggs, too! The free range chickens are cute; I liked how they ran out to greet me each time I returned from a walk. Center Road is nearby, but road noise dies down at night. It’s nice to be able to walk to Finn River, the Chimacum Cafe, and the Chimacum Corner Farmstand. And the vistas of the old barn and Beaver Valley are beautiful. I would to love to come back another time!

Cardinal's Camp♥️🌾

Loved our stay at Cardinal Camp! Beautiful land and well-maintained space. Sweet, happy chickens and fresh eggs made our stay extra special. :) Hosts are kind, friendly and considerate, site felt private nestled up against the gorgeous fields and being tucked in on the property away from the road made it feel safe and secure. We camped in a tent with our two dogs and very much appreciated the cover for shade on hot days and a dry spot on rainy days. Power and WIFI made remote work a breeze in an area with otherwise spotty coverage. Great location for exploring Pt Townsend and surrounding areas. Loved the Chimacum farm store and plenty of spots nearby for supplies, etc. Highly recommend! Thanks so much to Chris, fam and chickens for a fabulous stay!

Cardinal's Camp♥️🌾

This was absolutely perfect for us. Quiet and convenient location behind Chris's house butting up to pictureesque farmland. Definitely walk across the street to the Finnriver Cidery for cider and food. Port Townsend and the various state parks are close by. The Olympic Discovery trail is close by. We'd definitely stay here again!
