Nice lot and good offerings. The wifi is great as we have 2 little ones that would rather watch a movie than sit by a fire. The only downfall is the neighbors house is right on top of you while you are camping. Their is shrubs that have been planted but arenât quite tall enough yet to give you the secluded feel.

This is gold tier camping. Well beyond my expectations, which were high from the description and reviews. Dave has literally thought of everything. There is so much space to relax and enjoy nature. Itâs so quiet you can hear the ocean waves. The quick, well maintained, majestic beach trail is amazing. The lighted picnic area with firepit is perfect, especially for the cool evenings. We had the most relaxing camping trip ever and would highly recommend this site! Canât wait to go back already!!

Camp Oluby
We had a great time camping with our travel trailer. We brought our 10 month old and dog. The site is well kept and the full hookups are amazing! The facilities and the fully fenced property is great. 10/10. The trail to the ocean and treasure chest is a big time bonus. We went into Ocean Shores for a day .and had great recommendations. My wife went and got a massage one morning at the casino. We had an amazing time and hope to be back soon.

Had all the amenities needed and very clear instructions on how to access everything. It was the perfect location filled with wonderful surprises, like a fairy tale walk from the camp to the beach! Wifi was available to help discover the area and decide what we wanted to eat. Well maintained and dog friendly. Iâd go back every weekend if I could.

Camp Oluby was absolutely ideal! Dave's communication was great, the site itself was top notch and we look forward to going back! There was absolutely nothing missing and we couldn't think of a thing on how to improve it. Just a wonderful spot!

This place is dialed in! What a pleasure to stay here! Dave has done an outstanding job setting up a camp area that is convenient, quiet and has everything you could possibly need. Especially great if you have dogs or kids with it being fully fenced. There were even special little surprises for the kiddos. 5/5 star for sure!

This is one of our favorite campsites ever! Dave, the owner, is very communicative, and itâs obvious a lot of thought went into making the site as great as possible. Weâve already made lots of memories with family and friends and will be back again and again.

What a lovely, well maintained camping spot. Plenty of space, good privacy, with nothing between you and the ocean but the dunes. They've really thought of everything, including a few unexpected extras that are sure to bring smiles. The Wi-Fi was even faster than at home! Just a quick drive or bike ride to a nearby market, or about 7 minutes into shops and restaurants in Ocean Shores. Because I have mobility limitations I didn't walk the path to the shore with the rest of my family, but instead drove to the very nearby public access and then across the sand to meet them as they emerged from the trail. What an absolutely fantastic experience!!!

Dave has put in a lot of effort making this a fun and memorable place to stay. Clean, comfortable, beautiful and relaxing fire pit area, and a few extra special touches thrown in. The trail to the beach is quite impressive and my kids said it was like they were in a fairytale, complete with sightings of deer and a rabbit. So glad we found this place.

Staying here is always great! The fire pit area is so cute, the port-a-potty is clean, thereâs trash service, and an outdoor kitchen. Pet friendly, and thereâs even a kennel if you have a wandering pal. The coolest part is the trail to the beach, though! Itâs a walking trail, and not something you want to use to haul all your gear down the beach. But itâs simply magical to get to walk through the parts of the beach and Dunes you donât normally see. Hosts are responsive if you need them, too.

This was our second year staying at Daveâs property and our oldest was so excited to come back! This was our youngestâs first year :). The trail to the beach is so sweet, the fire pit is so cozy, and the sink makes camp clean up a breeze!

Lovely spot by the sea with many fun and unexpected treasures left by the host for guests to find. Kids were thrilled. Host was super responsive throughout whenever we had a question. We loved this trip! Definitely recommend! Pack your mosquito repellant and sense of fun and come enjoy.

Camp Oluby
This was our second trip to Camp Oluby, our first trip during warm weather and it was amazing. The beach was warm enough for shorts and tank tops, flying kites, playing in the waves and exploring the aquatic wildlife. The trail to the beach through the mangrove still had a bit of water on it due to the unseasonably wet year, but WOW what a trail! A treasure indeed! We also chose to balance a little work with vacation this time and can easily say the internet is sufficient for all kinds of video calls and even late time gaming :) Mosquitos were out this time, but only right at dusk and in the morning. You're going to love this place!

Loved it! I've never stayed at a site where the host has truly thought of everything in this way. My dog loved playing fetch in the grass, the kitchen was super handy, and the lights over the campfire ring were a lovely extra touch. Unfortunately, the path to the beach is flooded right now, but driving down the street to the public entry was no big deal. Such a great spot; we will definitely be back!

We had a great experience camping on Dave's property. It feels like a special secret hideaway that only insiders know about. You can hear the surf crashing a short ways through the brush. We came in after rains, so the path was flooded. Not a problem, as the public beach is just down the road. Dave has anticipated practically every need and is immediately responsive to questions. The fire ring is especially cozy and very nicely designed, and there is also a cool outdoor sink and clam washing area. Dave's campsite is up there with the best you will find on Hipcamp.

Our second stay at Camp Oluby was just as fun as our first. There were many new upgrades that we appreciated- the fence, privacy planting to help screen the house next door, garbage service, port-a-potty, and the sheltered fire ring and Adirondack chairs. We enjoyed the charming special touches like the garden art . The trail to the beach was flooded this time so we walked up the street to the public beach access and explored some of the quiet neighborhoods along the way. There was an issue with the WIFI that Dave worked with us to resolve. Thanks Dave and family for making Camp Oluby a very special beach experience.

What a beautiful place! Dave is a wonderful host! The property was very clean and well kept. We loved having a covered area to prepare our meals. Our dogs loved sniffing everything and having more freedom on the property. The fire pit area was so nice and relaxing. We had a fire both nights and loved hearing the ocean and the frogs. We can not wait to go back. Dave-thank you for sharing this gem with us.

This, hands down, has been one of my best camping trips so far. Dave was an amazing host with a perfect slice of heaven that he is sharing with people. My only complaint is that I only had a weekend theređ.

The place did not disappoint. Geese were heading north aided by a good south wind. They were flying high and going really fast.
There were nice sunny days even though weather report was predicting rain all the time.
It is so nice to have the full hookup for convenience. Great location and the wifi was excellent.
Will be back here.

Camp Oluby even in rainy April was absolutely incredible! The site is the first we've stayed at where we were the only ones there and it's quite inspiring. The fire pit, Adirondack chairs and driftwood table feel so perfectly beachy and the surrounding mangrove nicely blocks the wind from the beach.
This time of year we couldn't walk to the beach through the trail but we'll be back in the summer to give that a try. The access road to drive directly onto the beach is only about a two minute drive!
The owners were very friendly and responsive to questions. The site also had helpful information about the local activities and restaurants. And even a special surprise gift at arrival!

Camp Oluby was perfect! Great layout, easy to hook up our trailer. Fire pit area was awesome! The only downside was the trail to the beach was flooded, but lots of rain lately and time of year would do this. Drive to the beach access is super close, so it wasn't a big deal. Dave was quick to respond to any messages. Will definitely try to go back!

Camp Oluby
We loved our stay at Camp Oluby. The host Dave has thought of everything to make his property a perfect place to camp. We brought our tent trailer and enjoyed the ease of connecting to the services, including great wifi access.. The direct access to the beach was not usable this time of year but it was just a short 1 minute drive to the beach.Will definitely book it again next year.
