Awesome setting around the tiny A-Frame! Very comfortable bed. Heater kept us warm on a cold, rainy, windy night. Host very helpful. Had everything set up perfect for us. You will love this place!

Hilltop Retreat
The hilltop retreat was a great spot to camp for me and my preschooler! Simona was a helpful and responsive host and we enjoyed getting to meet the animals on the farm (well, I did even if my kid was mixed about it!) Having the tent, hammocks, and grill made it pretty easy to enjoy the getaway while being out under the stars at night.

We had a great time 💕 Such a beautiful and well maintained property! Remember to bring your bedding- I forgot the air mattress and my hubbys back couldn’t do 2 nights but other than that it was amazing!!!

the forest around this camp is so beautiful and i loved opening up the side of the cabin to watch the sunset! the cabin had everything i needed without bringing any real camping gear, and it was so so lovely to meet simona and her adorable dogs!

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at this homestead, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I've had in a long time. The property is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and full of charm everything you'd want in a relaxing getaway.

Simona was very friendly and welcoming! The Hilltop site was a great spot for our large group and kiddos. But bring a sunshade, it can get toasty when the sun is out.

The Overlook
Such a gem of a place! Very private, quiet, and comfortable. Simona has put a lot of love into the property and it shows. My toddler and I had a blast meeting the animals and picking lots of berries + the a-frame cabin is a fun and unique experience of its own. Simona also had great recommendations for us - we had a lovely paddle at a nearby marina, and while we didn’t get to them there were a few interesting hikes nearby, too. Thanks again for having us!!!

The Overlook
My daughter and I spent a comfortable and quiet night here, without electronic devices, and a feeling of returning to nature. I don't need to spend time to set up, everything is ready, and you just enjoy your own time, which is perfect.
You could ask everything to Simona, she is the best. This is my wonderland, I'll come back often.
The camping lodge is situated in a beautiful, serene location that offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Surrounded by nature, it provides easy access to nearby hiking trails, lakes, and other outdoor activities.
It offers a wonderful retreat into nature with comfortable accommodations. It's an ideal destination for families, couples, and solo travelers looking to unwind and connect with nature.

Simona was the sweetest angle iv ever met. Some tears were definitely shed when we had to leave. The campsite was clean and gorgeous, and got responses for any question I had very quickly. We got to meet her amazing homestead animals and chat with the amazing Simona for a while, she’s a bad ass. Would recommend going here to everyone I know.

Second time staying here because we just loved it so much the last time! The A-Frame is delightfully designed and it is in a little secluded corner so it's peaceful. The portopotty is clean with a pump sink. You can't ask for any better in terms of glamping.
We love the hosts too! We got a tour of the animals at the farm again and Simona is delightful. Their dogs are also Good Boys. We are hoping to come back again!

Simona and her property were fabulous and made for a lovely night’s stay on 4th of July. Having booked at nearly the last minute possible, Simona was graceful and welcoming. The HIilltop tent was so neat, the lights around the campsite were a romantic (and convenient) touch, and the view of the night sky was the icing on the cake. My partner and I would love to stay again to enjoy more time with Simona, the land, and the animals.

We had a wonderful stay at River Forest. The host, Simona, was incredibly kind and hospitable. We especially enjoyed feeding her goats, which was a delightful experience for the entire family. The location was very peaceful. We highly recommend staying here

Simona was an extremely responsive, and accommodating host! We had a fabulous time staying at the well-appointed Overlook's A-frame. We had no trouble navigating to this location using Google's GPS, but really appreciated the well-written instructions for confirming we were driving onto the right property. This was a great home-base for exploring the nearby state parks and tidelands.
Inside the cabin, there were some thoughtful touches like a lantern, night light, jaquery, space heater, info sheet with restaurant recommendations, trash bin, shoe bin, mosquito net, ear plugs, etc. We loved being able to leave the side panel/awning open for bird-watching and night sky viewing in bed!
The porto-potty was very clean, and the pathway leading to it had little indicator lights at night. We did opt to add the firewood bundle, and it was generous and came with smaller pieces for kindling. And last but not least, the livestock guardian dogs and farm animals were a delight to meet! I've already told some friends about this location and can't wait to come back.

Beautiful property, perfect for a family with little ones. Simona was so kind and patient when she gave us a tour to meet the animals. The platform tent and propane grill setup were very convenient and saved us lots of time. Thank you!

Great spot in the woods for a peaceful time! Nothing can beat falling asleep and waking up to the sounds of nature with the side panel of the a-frame open. Two thumbs up for this gem!

We loved tent camping on Simona’s land! The land is beautiful- and loved the sounds of nature (wildlife, trees and animal farms) serenading us during our stay. We always enjoy the mini tour of the homestead. The baby goats and lambs are so adorable. This is our third time visiting the place and won’t be our last. Highly recommended this place for your next hip camping adventure.

We absolutely LOVED staying at Sean and Simona's campsite! The site was very CLEAN and tucked away for a beautiful oasis feel. Simona was a very hospitable and kind host and we highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet retreat off the beaten path.

Totally Loved it! Easy to get to, good directions, pull your car right up to the spot. Great BBQ, fire pit, lights, chairs, hammocks and platform with giant tent. Your own secluded little clearing for hanging out. Bathroom with hand wash station right close by. Would absolutely recommend - could be great for a group for a few days (you’ll be sad to leave after just one night!) as a home base to go explore elsewhere on the peninsula. Loved the farm animals - very cute and fun to pet! Couple mosquitoes but they kindly had bug spray out there for us- all the amenities.

Simona and Sean have a beautiful property and we really enjoyed our stay here. We had everything we needed, and our hosts even swapped out firewood for a propane fire pit during the Burn Ban. The porto john was clean and recently serviced as well. We would stay here again in a minute and recommend this spot to all!

If you're thinking about staying here and you are also looking for rest and relaxation, I highly recommend just taking the leap and booking the A frame. It is a gorgeous piece of mini architecture and truly such a dream to sit on the bed with the wall wide open, listening to the frogs. I normally love to camp in a tent but this time it was lovely to go to a place that was already all set up.
The portopotty was very clean, all the extra pieces like firepit, lighting, etc. worked great.

We loved camping on the small farm! It was our 9-month-old's first camping trip and we really appreciated the large, 12-foot diameter tent. We were able to fit our mattress and our baby's pack and play. There was very little set up that we needed to do, which was such a relief when camping with a baby. We used the grill to make dinner and breakfast and enjoyed sitting around the fire pit. The hammocks were incredibly relaxing and the camping area itself was private and quiet. It was so peaceful to listen to the chorus of frogs and stargaze at night. It took our baby a couple of hours to fall asleep, but he slept all night once he was asleep! We were nice and comfy in the tent.
Simona let us feed the goats and pet the dogs in the morning. It was so therapeutic!
We highly recommend staying at Sean and Simona's campsite.

This is a lovely place to camp and Sean and Simone are gracious hosts. Their homestead is a slice of heaven. We love coming here so much this was our second trip and we can’t wait to go back. Simone also makes incredible handmade soaps and lotions using ingredients sourced from her farm which are divine. Be sure to stock up when you visit! Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

Such a fun place to stay! This was our 2nd time staying in their A-frame and we absolutely loved it both times. Their attention to detail is immaculate - space heater for cold nights, twinkle lights outside, outlet for your phone… The owners even let us meet their puppies and baby goats which was such a special treat! Definitely 10/10 recommend booking! The view is beautiful, hosts are wonderful and we can’t wait to come back again!
