3438 Eden Valley Road brings you to Camp Discovery about 50 yards before the pavement ends, and another 10 yards lands you at the trailhead of the Olympic Discovery Trail. Hike or bike all the way to the ocean. Camp Discovery on Eden is the perfect first stop on your westbound expedition, or your return from the coast. Large level camp with generous parking, a large platform foundation with tiedowns for your tent. We also provide a huge picnic table, screened firepit, and an exceptionally clean portable restroom. UPDATE: July 2022.. We just added an outdoor shower with hot and cold water!!! There is also a spigot for camp water! The camp has a fantastic view of the Hurricane Ridge and Elwha Valley area of Olympic National Park. There is currently only one large campsite so you get the whole camp to yourself!

      A nice spot
      We had a nice experience camping here. The site was exactly as described and we had a peaceful time. A friendly doe greeted us as well as a big frog and bats. The host was helpful in making sure we had what we needed. We so appreciated our time here.

      Camp site was clean, beauty and had lovely modern amenities. Mike was super responsive when we had a question and gave us detailed instructions. Thank you for letting us stay!

      Definitely a cool little spot. There's a shower and bathroom available. A fire pit and wood was available as well. Will definitely want to rebook after our stay here!

      Camping w/ a View
      My bf and I loved camping here! It's so peaceful and we felt really safe. There's a nice platform for a tent, however we car camped. We enjoyed being able to make a nice campfire and enjoy looking at the stars. It's a huge bonus having a porta potty, outdoor shower, and picnic table on site. The entire camp site was perfect. It's a short drive to Olympic National Park and very close to downtown Port Angeles. We highly recommend this site!
