Blue Mist Farm

Beth was very welcoming in and friendly when we arrived at Blue Mist. Actually Shadow (the kitty) greeted us first (A+) but we felt very welcomed and it was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. Lovely views across the farmland of the surrounding hilltops and mountains. Close to town if you want/need to grab groceries or coffee or a beer at the brewery. It was just what we needed on our journey. Next time we are near Enumclaw we would love to stay here again!

Peaceful location, we were out in many sites without connectivity and this was a good last stop for our trip to reconnect with the world. Water spigot leaks a bit while it’s used but the main line has to be turned off while not in use. Otherwise everything worked really well.

We stayed here on our way back from camping in Mt. Rainier the night before our flight. The host were lovely, and we really enjoyed meeting the farm animals. We were parked in their driveway next to their home. It was the perfect spot for the overnight stay, but not somewhere I would suggest for a long stay. The host were friendly, had everything we needed, great at communication, and we had no complaints for what we intended with our stay. While the views were incredible, it may not provide the private nature setting many are searching for while camping.

This was my first time using HiCamp and it was an amazing experience. Beth is super nice and welcoming and shadow the cat is definitely a highlight. I'd recommend to anybody looking for a great WA camping location with awesome amenities!

Wonderful experience

It was such a lovely experience camping at Blue Mist Farm. Beth and her husband are so friendly and fabulous. They spent so much time answering all our questions about their farm and fiber businesses. The location is idyllic for those who love a laid back farm feel. Mind, they have a rooster who is excellent at his job of announcing the morning; to be expected on a farm, but some may not appreciate it. The ground was level. The porta-potty was clean. The porta-sink was stocked with soap and water. The area was spacious. The animals were as friendly as the hosts. Five stars. Absolutely recommend.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The site wasn't exactly what I expected, but if you just need a place to park (and sleep) while you explore the surrounding area like we did, then it will certainly fit the bill. Thanks for having us!

We enjoyed camping at Blue Mist Farm! We had great views, and Beth and her husband were great hosts. The field was clean and well kept. We had no problems picking a nice spot to pitch our tent. The portable toilet was very clean as well, and we also had access to a small portable sink and a long hose. Parking for the car is close to the field. Overall great experience!

Had a most memorable experience parking our camper van and jeep at Beth’s Blue Mist Farm! She and her daughter gave us a tour of the farm, introducing us to each of the sheep, the goat that thinks she’s a sheep lol, ducks, chickens, and alpacas. She also showed us her wool processing workshop which showed the process from start to finish. Fascinating! Also took a felting class and made our own angels. Beth took lots of time to share and educate, the property is beautiful, and this was a highlight of our PNW visit!!

Great for young kids!

Our kids loved the stay here, we stayed close to the house (between the sheep) large area to setup out tent. The restroom (porta potty) was right there, no fear if the kids needed it during the night because it was so close. They loved seeing the ducks, chickens, rams, sheep, alpacas and goats. Also our youngest was in heaven playing with their dog. Of course it smells like a farm but not overly strong. Our kids voted it in the top 2 camping stops of the year. We of course had card games to play in our downtime. We premade all our food as you can't have a fire to cook over. Other than the ducks it was so quiet after dark.

a once in a lifetime experience! sleeping out in the pastry, on such beautiful land, next to the sheep was wonderful. they where kind enough to take us on a tour around the farm and fiber mill. incredible and kind folks- can’t recommend this stay enough! :)

Very nice host. Animal sounds throughout the night and the 4:30 rooster wakeup call a bit more than expected. If you're looking for a full farm experience this is the place. If you're looking for a quiet night sleep, not so much. The kids loved it.

The views were beautiful and relaxing. Very quiet. Definitely a great place to go for our first time with our trailer. We were able to hook up to their power and water. We had our dog and his senses were out of control being out by farmlands but we couldn’t smell anything.

Camping With Animals

We had a beautiful spot to park our trailer with a view of Mt. Rainier, the sheep and cows and some alpacas. Beth took us on a tour of her farm and animals as she transferred the animals to a different pasture. We learned a lot about sheep, alpacas and miniature cows. Beth gave us a tour of the machines she uses to process the wool and alpaca fibers. I selected a class to make a felted scarf and Beth showed me how to complete it. I also bought sheep and alpaca socks from her gift shop. We even bought farm fresh eggs! We had a delightful time!

Cows!

We had an absolutely wonderful time camping out at the farm. Our toddler was in love with the cows, Dilly and Phil. Beth was kind enough to let us meet the baby chicks, and introduced us to the sheep in the pen by our pop-up. Our little guy has been asking us to let us feed apples to cows all day after we left - the visit made its mark! Highly recommend the site. Hookups available, porta potty as well. We were in the grass site (110v only) by the animals, but the driveway has hookups for 110v & 240v (not positive on the number here, as it's the one we don't use). Beth and her husband were very interesting and fun to talk to. Can't wait to come back!! 10/10

Very nice and welcoming host. To get to the campsite you pass different gates. We decided to stay on the grass outside next to the house and had a wonderful stay. The site was private and even and had a hose. We could park our car right next to the tent. This made things easier for us. The kids got to feed the chickens.

We had a fun time staying here and really enjoyed the tour Beth gave us. There’s not much shade so glad we brought a pop shade tent. There’s no service and the wifi is p spotty for me. It’s nice if you’re trying to get off the grid! There was a beautiful sunset view of Mt. Rainier as well. Close to a lot of things nearby.

Peaceful Moments on the Farm

Beth is an amazing hostess. She was gentle, kind and encouraging to my two grandkids. They didn’t want to leave! The farm tour, collecting eggs, and feeding the baby goats were the highlights of the trip. We loved watching the sun go down over the fields with cows, horses and bats in the shadows. We were in awe as we drank our morning coffee to the sounds of sheep, chickens and cows slowly waking up. I highly recommend Blue Mist Farm to both young and old alike! Blue Mist Farms will become a bi-yearly event for our family!

I camped here for 1 night with my kids and had a lovely time. Both of my children (9&2years old) absolutely loved it! Was it an “authentic” camping experience? No but that also wasn’t the point for us… we went to hang out with animals and educate my kids about farm life. The owners were so kind and involved my children as much as they wanted. We even got to bottle feed two baby lambs during our stay! I purchased yarn made from Bravo, one of their alpacas. It was so cool to connect with the animal that the yarn came from. Highly recommend for all ages! 🦙
