Sarah is very hospitable, she met me and showed me everything around. The views from the backyard are amazing, I had one of the greatest sunsets there. I camped in my car, so Sarah let me use the bathroom, shower and even laundry inside the house! I would recommend to everyone and would stop by next time I’m in the area!

Sarah was very responsive and accommodating for us to stay on her property and especially for our dogs! We parked with a travel trailer. The site was a very nice private spot that has a concrete pad next to a shed building. There were chairs, a table and a fire pit available, although we didn't use them. We were able to run a long extension cord (husband thinks 75') to reach our camper cord to the shop, plus used a 30 amp to 110 adapter. It was nice to have power.
We have a 31 ft bumper pulled travel trailer and when we pulled in we didn't think we could make the turn to back in. We were given instructions on where to turn around at and luckily my husband can maneuver while towing because he made it work even with slide-out out! If you are not confident or comfortable turning a longer rig into tighter spaces I wouldn't recommend it. If you have a shorter length you shouldn't have any issues. It's not that it was a tight space, more like our trailer is 31 ft long and hard to turn in some areas to back in.
The trailer ended up fitting great. There was shade on 3 sides and we stayed hooked on overnight. I thought it was just fantastic that Sarah offers laundry, toilet and shower. We did not use them.
The 2 best parts were the quietness and the fenced area she allowed dogs to run in. Our dogs were in heaven! After being on leashes for over 2 weeks they loved every second of the yard. We even saw a deer walk thru.
I highly recommend this spot. Great experience.

Nice spot. We were in a spot by their garage that backed up next to a wooded cliff, so nice buffer. They offered a shower and laundry which were both perks we were looking for. Sarah was very accommodating for our late check in. I will say there was some stuff left on a table at our site (condiments, a foiled cookie tray with some food debris on it) but we didn’t use the table so it wasn’t a big deal.

Really wonderful spot! We were a last minute booking and arrived right after our booking was confirmed. Sarah was very accommodating, and the space was very private with access to a full bathroom.

Sarah is a clear communicator and the amenities are very thoughtfully put-together. I feel welcome and safe here. There's a river a 5 minute walk from the site here where locals love to play and on a sunny day it's paradise!

It was great camping on Sarah’s land. She was very accommodating with provisions and other nick knacks (even on short notice!) and the spot was private/far enough from the house that we felt comfortable and free enough.

Great property to camp on with lots of green grass, safe and secure environment at the base of the nearby mountains. Several spots to enjoy privacy. Indoor bathroom & shower (great hot water pressure) are up to date, clean & very modern! Walking distance to the river as well as town wheres there's lots of small town places to eat & 3 thrift stores. Bring food because the local store is a bit too pricey.
I highly recommend camping at Blackberry Basecamp & I'll definitely be camping there again this summer! Several towns close by with lots to do in the summer including hiking, fishing, enjoying nature, outdoor Packwood flea market & yard sales. Got visited by some deer while camping & it was a cool experience!
The hosts were very nice & accomodating to make sure you're setup. Thank you to them for making my experience very enjoyable! I'll definitely be back to see you all this summer!
The Buckshot Tavern in town has really great burgers & nice local folks who make you feel welcome. There's a breakfast diner & a Mexican restaurant.
You won't be disappointed at Blackberry Basecamp!
