Tony was a fantastic host, with a lovely and peaceful site. Communication in advance of arrival was prompt and courteous, and he and his wife were on hand when I arrived, cheerfully greeted me, and helped me to get situated on the RV pad. There are two sites— both of them are easily accessible back-in placements—and the positioning is very private from their residence.
As someone who has camped up and down most of the Hwy 14 sites, I highly recommend their location, as you won’t be hearing the the train, and access to all the area has to offer is a quick and beautiful drive down into the valley.

Black Tail Private RV Site
Lovely quiet location, with a full hook up site. Site is sunny and open but private, with a provide picnic table. Consider bring shade for sitting under if your rig doesn’t have an awning.
Tony was quick to reply to questions and a great host.
