Nice secluded area and a nice clean porta potty! Super nice host and was super helpful and when we needed it! The kids loved the deers that kept coming on the property too!

Beautiful camping site. Very private, lush, and peaceful- a lone deer welcomed us to our site and later saw a family of deer nearby. :) Plenty of space. The rain poured during one of our days and it was nice to have the gravel pit to pitch a shelter over. Clean porta potty with a flushable toilet and sink to wash your hands was a nice touch. We could hear fireworks at a distance, made our dog a little anxious. Bring insect repellent!

Berry Meadow
Amazing sight with a lot of privacy. It was very spacious and quiet during the night time. Tons of birds whistling and we were even greeted by a deer at our site. Portable toilet is the fanciest I've tried thus far! John was a fantastic host and it was accommodating. Great getaway if you're not trying to travel too far from the city

A beautiful little spot tucked back into a little forest cove in a seemingly endless meadow. Trails that wind through berry patches, deer, and bunnies. Easy to pull in and get settled. Nice big fire ring and the fancy flush honey buckets. So, so quiet. We van camped but there was a very nice tent pad perfectly situated. We had a lovely stay!

Nice, spacious spot with a very clean restroom. Lots of wildlife and places to explore. Very private and plenty of firewood. Host communicated well and made sure it was a great trip.

Berry Meadow is a peaceful spot and is set up nicely for camping. We parked our van, but there is also a very nice tent pad available. John is a great host. He even offered to fire up the tractor if we couldn't make it out after waking up to some surprise snow (fortunately we did not need it). Hopefully we will make it back when it's a bit warmer!

The private camp site and open meadow were just what we were looking for. John helped us with fire wood and was always available if we would have needed anything. The quiet location was conveniently located just 5 minutes from the ferry landing too. Great spot for a quick get away. Thanks John!

Great camp pad at the end of a cleared grass field under the trees. Quiet and secluded but easy to get to. John has clear directions and prepared the site ready for us. Super clean honey bucket provided. Love to come back on another trip to the area.

John’s property is in a beautiful spot in Kingston, close to town but very private. It’s a beautiful spot in the forest across a big grassy meadow. John was really friendly and welcoming, and the on-site bathrooms and water were really nice amenities. We got a car and campervan in the spot and level without any trouble. I will definitely be recommending this spot to friends!

Berry Meadow
We had a very nice stay, the host John and his families were very welcoming, John was well communicate, very thoughtful and put gust’s safety and experiences as the priority. It was raining hard for the last two days and John txt me the day before to let me know the situation and busy to remove the dangerous branches before I came, also give me clear instructions, well sign for direction. The land was big and private, simple and close to DT and ferry terminal.

Beautiful 5 acre meadow surrounded by evergreens and maple trees. Saw deer and heard coyotes sing almost every night. Very peaceful and private. John and Kasey are great hosts and are eager to help with any questions.

Our stay at Berry meadow was the perfect start to our adventure. It was a very convenient location after taking the ferry over to the island. Our kiddos enjoyed picking berries from the bushes that surrounded the very private and peaceful site. There was a burn ban so we didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit, but it was nicely laid out within the site. The site also had a nice flat gravel pad where we pitched a tent. The porta potty was clean, And not a far walk from the site. John was a fantastic host and we even had a chance to meet him and his child. They offered us apples from their tree and that was a really nice surprise. I would definitely return to this site next time we are around. Thanks John!
