My partner, pup and I booked a rather last min trip for a night for some R&R and did not disappoint! We enjoyed the many serene views and beautiful horses nearby. WiL’s lovely property is big that it felt very private. We even got lucky and had the place to ourselves. Our pup loved frolicking and playing around the grassy field! The tables, firepit, toilets and washing station are such nice touches. Thanks WiL and family! Would recommend!

Our second time at Beaver Flats and once again really enjoyed our stay. We just relaxed with our feet in the soft grass, and enjoyed watching the birds and horses next door. Our dogs loved the grass as well. The hand washing sink was a great addition this year! Thank you for sharing your beautiful land with us!

Very nice owner, there is fire wood and a toilet available. Tables and fire rings which you can move around to your chosen spot. Clean and flat area.

I love camping but hate the 2 or 3 hours of driving we usually do. This is a great, close getaway. It's also a pretty drive. You can take Hwy 9 the entire way if heading north. It was very peaceful and beautiful. Host was great too.

We loved camping here! Such a nice large field—our puppy loved chasing the low flying birds. It’s about a 2 minute drive to the lake. There were other families staying on the grounds but it’s such a big field that it still feels private. It was so quiet and allowed us to exhale from the hustle and bustle of life. We would definitely stay again!

We loved camping at beaver flats. Wil was very great at communicating and answering questions we had before the trip. He welcomed us right away when we pulled in and showed us around. Loved the surrounding mountains and the beautIful sunset views in the evening. The flush toilet was a plus as well. We will definitely stay here again 😊

Had a wonderful time at Beaver Meadow. A peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing place with kind and thoughtful hosts! Love the convenience of a bathroom and hand washing sink. Fire pits to borrow and cut wood for donation. They are great communicators and give you the space or privacy you need. Definitely recommend and hope to return in the future!

Beautiful spot. Truly. This spot feels quiet and private, yet is just a short drive away to the town of clear lake. The lake is a perfect swim spot, and the field is amazing for playing any outdoor games. It was an awesome place to stay. The bathroom they have made is very clever and feels really nice. There is firewood available from the owners daughter and I really appreciate that aspect as a parent myself, and a former kid camper trying to earn some money. I really recommend staying here.

We loved our stay at Beaver Flats. What a beautiful spot. We picked the spot next to the canal and watched the birds, an otter, bats, owls and the horses on the pasture across the canal. Bring your binoculars and watch the action on Clear Lake and on the mountain biking trails on the hill across the lake. We had a very relaxing and quiet weekend, just the way we like it. Our dog loved the grass! She was frolicking and "playing roadkill" all day long. The flush toilet was great and clean as well, very clever! Thank you for sharing your beautiful spot with us! We will be back!

A relaxing meadow with clumps of alders to provide shade and privacy. Lots of birdwatching, plus horses, donkeys and sheep. Limited to four groups, so even when maxed out in a holiday weekend it was still private and quiet. Beats the heck out of a state park!

We had an awesome Labor Day weekend here! All the other reviews are spot on: kind host, quiet, private, clean bathroom! Loved that our pup could run around and roll in the soft grass. Definitely recommend this lovely spot!

We had a nice relaxing weekend at Beaver Flats! We enjoyed a walk to the swimming beach and star gazing in the evening. I was camping as a solo mom and 2 kids, and the location felt very safe and welcoming. We saw owls, a blue heron, pheasants, and we enjoyed watching the herd of horses across the street. So much nicer than a state park on a holiday weekend. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us!

Great stay!! I've been struggling to find campsites with enough sunlight for the solar panels on my camper. Beautiful area with plenty of sunny and shaded options. Will was very nice and accommodating. Would recommend :-)

If you’re looking for a beautiful, relaxing, serene place…stay here:)….I enjoyed so much the time I had here. The Herons, the Bullfrogs…the horses you see on your walk down the road…the sunsets…just lovely. Highly recommend 🥰. Great hosts too!!

Clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. In between two lakes that are 2 minute drives to get to. I suggest brining any food you will need with you, as the local amenities are priced for convenience not value. Host had above ground fire pits for use that we cooked s’more’s with. The fishing and swimming at Clear lake was fun. Caught many bluegill, bass and trout using worms.

AWESOME little property for a stop over after climbing Mt. Baker. Wil was super helpful and a delight to speak with. Set up was super easy, the bathroom was clutch. We cannot say enough about how amazing the scenery was, we even had a full moon to boot.

We loved camping here. We took a spot near the end of WiL’s land and had a beautiful view of mountains, the lake and the setting sun. There was a toilet on site with a pedal flush which was far beyond what you expect or hope for ok a camping trip. Bravo for that! Our pup loved the large stretch of open grass to chase his ball around and if he’s happy, I’m happy. Quiet, pretty, clean and well maintained. A short walk to nearby lakes too. I would definitely stop by again! Thanks so much for your hospitality.

The property is beautiful and has abundant wide open space. We were able to pull right in and find a nice spot to put up a few tents. The host was very communicative and was friendly and accommodating when we needed to add extra vehicles. This place was perfect for our needs.

Such a beautiful slice of the PNW! Huge field thats mostly open, but still provides a row of trees for shade and some of the best grass your feet will thank you for! Dogs got to run and play in the field as we all did, it was amazing!
Top notch hosts too! Tons to do nearby w/ Clear lake and big lake, as well as some great hiking and off-roading w/in about 20 minutes too. Gem of a find, and cant wait to get back! Please pack out and leave it as good or better than when you arrived, truly peaceful space!

This was our first time using hipcamp and we were a little nervous. As I pulled into their driveway I was blown away by how beautiful the property was. We stayed in their RV spot for two weeks and had zero issues! The entire family was extremely nice and welcoming. Even though the spot is on the side of the house, it still feels very private. The property is stunning, we couldn’t get enough. We have dogs and they loved having the huge property to run around and play. The donkeys next door were adorable and the neighbor is awesome too! We felt like we were part of the neighborhood being there. Honestly, it’s the best place we have stayed in and we have been to at least 50 campgrounds and 23 states in the last 18 months. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time camping here! It felt very rural even though it was extremely close to a few different towns. The meadow was gorgeous and there were just enough trees to create privacy between the owners home and the other campers. Quite spacious and beautiful views. The bird life was amazing! Anyone who enjoys bird watching would love this spot, I was quite glad to have packed my bird-nocs at last minute.
My own suggestion would be for the addition of some sort of bathroom, but as we were the first campers to try out this spot, we can’t really blame them for that! Plus there were multiple public restroom options a 2 minute drive or a 10 minute walk away.
Our host was also super nice and communicative. He popped over to make sure we were squared away after we arrived but otherwise left us to our own devices. Overall great hipcamp, we would definitely come again!
