The location and grounds were really great and private. Only suggestion would be to have wifi available since there is no cell service. If you are looking for completely off grid, then this is the place!

Had a great trip!!! Really enjoyed being the only camp site. Location is convenient to both National Forests and great hiking. Appreciated the super comfy lawn furniture for lounging. Would definitely stay there again!!!!

The property is very conveniently located for quick excursions (hiking, climbing, boating, fishing, etc.) between Leavenworth and Stevens Pass. It’s well maintained, clean, spacious, and organized. Mary Ann responded promptly to our messages and she was very accommodating. The Hwy 2 is very close, which means some noise. For campers in vans, RVs, and trailers, it should not be an issue. For people sleeping in tents, it could be a bit challenging. Overall, I would definitely recommend this campaign spot!

We were in the area and needed a place to camp for the night last minute. I messaged Mary Ann and got a fast response and arrived with in an hour, good directions. There was water and power available which was very nice! The camp spot was beautiful and we had a great stay!

We go to Leavenworth every year for my birthday and this year was no exception. In the past, we have stayed at places that looked great on the app, but we’re not great when we got there. This was not the case at Bear Acres! Not only does this place look great on the app, but it is even better in person and the hosts are very kind and responsive. The location is great with about a 15-20 minute drive into town which allows someone to get out of the hub-lubb of all the tourists in town and still have the convenience of it. This place is completely peaceful, is easy to find, and easy to access. Everyone of us completely enjoyed Bear Acres, and we will definitely visit again! The hosts have done a wonderful job making this spot extra special with hammocks, games, great lighting and a nice propane option when fires aren’t an option. Book with them! You won’t be disappointed!

We had such a wonderful time at this campsite! From the moment we arrived, we noticed the well-maintained, peaceful environment. The grounds were clean and spacious, with it being a private campsite, there was plenty of privacy. The Host was very easy to reach over text and responded in a timely manner.
Whether you’re tent camping or in an RV, this spot is perfect for both solo trips and families. We’ll definitely be back — it’s become our new favorite getaway spot near Leavenworth!

This was a great campsite! Perfect for a group that included 5 dogs. We loved that there was a sitting area we could enjoy away from all the mosquitoes. The port-o-potty was clean and it was great to have a small sink inside to wash hands. There was a hose we could use rather than relying on the water jug we brought with us. The host was very responsive to all our pre-trip questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved the campsite! The owner was very welcoming and the private space was great. All the amenities added more than we expected out of the trip; from running water, power, a portable bathroom to yard games, chairs and more. Enjoyed their wandering dogs and the space to enjoy camp while still having the privacy from the owner on their property. Site is close to the main road, so a bit of noise there but was nice like white noise for me. 10/10, would definitely go back. Beware of the mosquitoes though. As expected with the warmer weather.

We wanted to end the camping season with an adventure to Bear Acres & this place didn't disappoint. The campsite was very well thought out with a place to sleep, eat & converse. The campsite has electric hookups, which I need for CPAP use & an electric blanket. My son brought his dog & as we did, lots of places to run & play. We all very impressed with the area & had the place all to ourselves. We definitely will return in the future.

Nice to have a screened seating area. The T-mobile cellphone had spotty reception. There was some road and train noise but it wasn't bad.

The area was clean and so so cute! There were outside lights that stayed on all night as well as a motion sensor light by the bathroom which we loved the extra feeling of safety. The ports potty was clean and we had a great time playing a few of the games left out! The noise from the highway was no bother AT ALL and it was easy to get to. Such a great place to stay :)

What a great site. We hooked up our RV to power, they had water and a clean Porta potty, plenty of places to sit and chill. We went to the lake and Leavenworth. There is a rest stop down the road that we used to dispose of trash and then on our way out we dumped our tanks. The hosts are great and we enjoyed chatting with them both and meeting their dogs. We will be back again!

This site is a gem! Beautiful property- perfect for a family or group of friends! Lots of activities to do with provided games and a provided hammock. You can buy firewood there. You’re also exclusive- only one group/ person at a time so especially if you have a group this place is stellar! MaryAnn was responsive and attentive and accommodating- fantastic!

The site is certainly clean and spacious with nice amenities. It’s obvious lots of love and care went into creating it. But loud traffic noise from Highway 2 is definitely there. It’s not peaceful. The map doesn’t make it clear how close the highway is, and the site description talks about woods and everything under the sun but doesn’t mention proximity to the highway.

This was a perfect spot for an overnight in our teardrop trailer. Much more space than we needed and very convenient electrical hookup. It was set up well with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the morning. The absolute best part for us was it’s convenient location, as we spent an evening exploring Leavenworth followed by a day of hiking near Stevens Pass.

Nice little place! It’s very well maintained, lots of seating options, lots of outdoor toy options, clean porta potty—the ONLY downfall I could mention is that it’s very close to the highway which I didn’t realize so there is lots of noise coming from that. Other than that, we loved our stay!

Amazing spot to RV camp! Lots of outdoor seating options, lots of effort went into creating a park-like setting! Clean Port-a-potty and fairly private despite being near the main house.

What a nice and private site! The firepit area had ample seating and a walkway all around. The Porta potty was well maintained and the hosts were so nice. Perfect location out of the way to feel safe and tucked away, but close enough for quick adventures.

Mary Ann was very responsive during our stay! We enjoyed staying a night for Oktoberfest. Beautiful area w plenty of seats. We saw some chipmunks 🐿️ scampering around, it was definitely serene and a great experience. Portapotty was clean. Two areas to have a nice fire but bring your own propane tank!
We would stay here again :)

We pulled our van into the spacious site and enjoyed a comfortable night. There’s plenty of seating and convenience picnic table. It was wonderful being the only ones at Bear Acres.
