This property has two locations, the south .5 acre lot in the unincorporated area of East Wenatchee above the Coyote Dune beach area on the Columbia River. This location includes two sites, a dry camp area and a furnished bungalow. Both are on the same land and overlook the confluence of the Wenatchee and Columbia Rivers. To the west you will view the Enchantment Wilderness rising above Leavenworth, Mission Ridge Ski & Board Resort to the south, and the Washington Scablands are to the east. The other location is a 24 farm with about 3,500' of frontage on the Entiat River. The land's history has included use as pasture, orchards, and flowers. It's currently identified as a silvo pasture farm growing native fir trees harvested in 60+ years as telephone poles. During this time, we pasture the land between the trees with livestock grazing. The current owners purchased the farm fall of 2023 from a family estate that owned it since the 1970s. It is considered a legacy project as work progresses to Firewise the land, which is the removal of dead trees and undergrowth fuel. This best protects old-growth trees on the farm. These big old trees also provide critical cooling and shade to the many salmon that work their way up the Entiat River to spawn. There are times during the year when salmon can be spotted swimming, resting, spawning, or dying along the river. During the 2025 grazing season, pasture 1 with 5 acres along the river fed 8 Katahdin Sheep. Spring 2026, bison, cattle, and goats will be moving into pasture #2 with 7 acres that climbs the mountain along the west border. Eagles, Osprey, Red Tail Hawks, Owls, Blue Jays, Chickadees, Beaver, Otter, Martin, American Dippers, Blue Herons, waterfowl, bats, mushrooms, and a variety of other interesting birds and bugs abound. I’ll guests must be self contained as the farm has freshwater and a shop restroom, but does not provide hook-ups or restrooms in camp areas. River camps serves as a great base for regional adventures or an afternoon BDR repair and rest break. There will also be ramblers visiting our aluminum fabrication shop where custom surf/SUP racks, hippie hot tub stands, and other DIY kits are designed and built. Winter Camp on River - Your Rig

RV/tent site · Sleeps 5 · Vehicles under 25 ft
Camping on our employee owned farm works well as a trial overnight for the BDR or other overland adventure. We offer several options including river front for your camper, space outside our tractor shop, or even a site to try our Sprinter Van. There is nothing like a couple nights in a van to see if a campervan might be for you. Our sites are about 5 miles from Ardenvoir, which is about midway in Section 4 of the WABDR. To the west, along the Entiat River, are public camp areas, and trailheads connecting dirt roads in all directions. High above to the west is 9,000' + Glacier Peak Wilderness. Getting here may also be a good test as you will likely drive a high speed interstate, then 2 lane Highway Alt 97, then 4 miles up the Entiat River Road. Once over Dinkelman Bridge, you leave pavement for oiled then gravel Dinkelman Lane where the farm starts on your right. A little further, you will have the farm on both sides when 50" tall mesh fence is on both sides of the lane. In about a quarter mile, you will pass a giant fir tree in front of a neighbor's blue home on the right, and then go up a very small hill and come upon our green metal tractor #317 shop/office on the left. On the right is an old brick barn where seasonal farm workers and our caretaker live. Below the brick brick barn, road conditions permitting, you will select one of up to 5 unique campsites depending on your preference. Sites vary with some being within 20' of the river to one that is 100 yards from the edge. There are never more than 2 campsites in use to ensure both privacy and choice. If the lower road is closed due to deep snow or flooding, you can select from 3 farmyard parking areas. While visiting, guests are also invited to borrow shop tools that may be needed for gear repair / maintenance. All camp guests need to know that shop and farm work occurs daily during daylight hours. Farm machinery quiet times are from 6 am - 8 pm other than irrigation. If you have questions once camped or are interested in a guided farm trail walk, our current caretaker is an experienced farm worker, outdoor guide, teacher, and overlander.

RV/tent site · Sleeps 5 · Vehicles under 20 ft
Rent our farm Sprinter to camp on our employee owned farm works as a trial overnight for future van camping. There is nothing like a couple nights in a van to see if a campervan or similar size rig might be right for you. When you arrive on our farm, you will have mesh fence on both sides of the road, go up a small hill just past our neighbors light blue home, and then come upon our green metal tractor #317 shop/office on the left. On the right is an old brick barn where seasonal farm workers and our caretaker live. Below the brick brick barn, road conditions permitting, you will select one of up to 5 unique campsites depending on your preference. If the lower road is closed due to deep snow or flooding, you can select from 3 farmyard parking areas. While visiting, guests are also invited to borrow available vehicle and bike tools from our tractor shop that may be needed for gear repair / maintenance while camping. Driving of our rental farm Sprinter Van off the farm will be little if any. Depending on your choice, the van will be parked for you at a camp site of your choice, or you may choose to drive it with our caretaker from our tractor shop office to a camp spot you select after arrival.
