Campsite is basically located in an empty lot between homes on the edge of the town of Concrete. Heard kids playing outside and some dogs barking in the evenings, but it was quiet throughout the night. There's 2 lodging options and 2 tent sites, a portapotty, and a spigot on the lot. Definitely felt different than staying at a campsite in a NF, NP, etc., but it was fine. It's about an hour drive from North Cascade. For that and the price, it's a great option if all the sites within the park are booked.

Overall good experience but probably wouldn’t stay here again. The location is good to access lakes and hikes nearby.
Pros: similar price to public campgrounds, nice grassy area for tent camping, water spigot, fire pit and free wood even with burn bans. Enough space even with two other campers there.
Cons: pretty loud til 10/11pm on Friday and Saturday nights - like dogs barking, cars speeding, neighbors using power tools. Porta potty needed to be cleaned. Some privacy is limited with neighbors houses in view. The private beach river access is a farther walk than it seems - about 30 minutes.

Easy, simple, and a fine homebase for car camping when visiting North Cascades National Park for the weekend. Would recommend and stay again.

Despite the moderately inhabited setting, it still felt like a campground. Plenty of space, discrete tent zones, and fairly well cut off from the neighborhood of large properties that is Cape Horn. The entrance is a great iron gate that's bound by an equally impressive hooked iron chain. Besides looking fanciful and fantastic, it makes the campground feel secure after you've shut it behind your car.
Fairy lights abound around the cabin and host's trailer, adding to the cute and comfortably lit atmosphere.
No picnic tables yet, but the host (who communicates quickly and effectively) says those are coming soon and let us use the card table from the cabin porch.
Central potable water hose and port-o-potty were clean and convenient!
We'll probably come back here when we return to fish in the area.

This was a peaceful campsite in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The property is fenced so it was easy to make it feel private, and there was a nice view of the mountains! It's a convenient place to stay, and I definitely recommend taking a walk to the nearby river. There's water and a port a potty on site, so you have everything you need! I recommend staying here if you're in the area.

Erin is very communicative and responsive. Great host!! We weren't able to stay the night due to some external factors, and Erin was accommodating :) The spot is only a half hour from Baker lake and hotsprings, plus there is a delicious gluten free bakery really close by.

We loved our tent site! The getaway was exactly what we needed. We came to visit the North Cascades and the drive was about 45-50 minutes to park entrance but a straight shot so it made the commute super easy. Neighborhood was quiet, peaceful, and off the main road. We visited the park with access to the river and Concrete city center. So much to do within a short drive.
Property was clean and amenities as listed. Erin was a great host. Highly recommend if you're looking for a unique little camp spot.

Great quiet spot with plenty of space to set up camp. We were able to get this spot last minute on Labor Day weekend which was great and the price was right! The private beach was a private neighborhood beach about 10-15 minute walk away. The sand at the beach was super nice and had good views, we barely saw people there. 20 miles from Baker Lake which was what I had come to the area to see! Very convenient. Great spot for stargazing. The owner was really nice and responded quickly to my questions. There was water available from a clean hose. The port a potty on site was the cleanest one I've ever seen, stocked and had twinkle lights on the inside so you don't have to use it in the dark! Very cute touch. And there was a little sheltered area we were able to use as we were packing up camp and it started raining, so were able to dry off our stuff before packing it into the car. One of the camping areas was in particular great for shade from the hot morning sun (when the sun is there lol) because of some really tall trees there, the others had more exposure. The grass was trimmed down well, though I wouldn't walk on it barefoot, it was more cut down brambles than grass. But not an issue at all. It was the right amount of camping I like. Secluded-ish in a quiet neighborhood, and got to camp and had bathroom and water access.

If you’re looking for a serene camping experience, you might want to keep looking. The “grounds” here are more like a neglected backyard, with the ambiance of a construction site thanks to the noisy neighbors and their perpetually angry dogs. Calling this a campground is a stretch—it’s more like a one-acre plot in a neighborhood, with three small lots that have about as much excitement as a parking lot. The majority of the space is occupied by the family living in their bungalow and trailer, making you feel more like an uninvited guest at a family reunion than a camper. Save yourself the trouble and pitch your tent elsewhere.
