A wonderful little site with only three camp pitches, two glamping pods and a couple of holiday cottages. Good set of toilets and showers with washing up sinks that had running hot and cold water (nice touch!). We stayed on The Glade, which is secluded; has its own fire pit, elec and fridge (that was a pleasant surprise); is surrounded by trees on all sides; and relatively flat with the ground falling away from it on three sides. What more could you ask for? Oh yeah, it's only a five min walk to the beach down a private footpath!
Two things to note, it can get muddy by the bridge (though the matting put down was a great solution, so issues there), and we'd recommend being the only one in the campsite showers as the water pressure wasn't really up for two!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bach Wen and would recommend it if you want a great location on the Welsh coast!

Our stay in the pod was amazing. Beautiful view, nice bed, power, small radiator, and kettle. One of our favorite impulse getaways ever. Will be back!

We had a wonderful stay in Dandelion. Despite the wind and the rain when we stayed, we were kept nice and toasty by the log fire and had wonderful views whilst we hid from the rain.
It was also in such a great location and we had a great time exploring nearby!

Beautiful spot, plenty of wildlife (seals, chuffs, oyster catchers), really unspoiled part of Wales. Great launch pad for exploring the coast line and hiking in the Snowdonia National Park. Decent showers and toilets. Burdock is secluded with a beautiful view. Sounds of the waves and the stream only - bliss.

Staying at Burdock was very good, a nice size cabin with a few essentials and a great view, a nice introduction to my grandson on the delights of camping, fire, BBQ sun, sea and fresh air, not a tv or computer to be seen, and not requested once, the site is very tidy and well run. Good toilet, shower and washing facilities provided.

We all loved the discreet camping pitch with built in fridge and electric. Beach with amazing Mountain View’s is literally 2 mins walk. Amazing scenery. Throughly enjoyed. Will be coming back.

What a lovely 4 nights spent at a truly idyllic spot - private but welcoming, luxury in a wild setting. Friendly host, private beach, incredible sea views from the cabin and good facilities for showering, storing food and washing up etc.

Dandelion
We booked our stay at the Dandelion at short notice and arrived late so it was dark upon arrival. We found our way to the pod and put our luggage inside. Inside it is decorated with a lovely rustic charm which we were impressed with, the cleanliness of the pod and surrounding areas is of a high standard. We lit the log burner and enjoyed the quaintness. With the door open you can hear the sound of the sea and stream running by. When we woke up the view we were treated to was really exceptional. In the distance to the right you can make out parts of Anglesey, Holyhead in the distance, Newborough Forest and the Menai. The views to the left and behind were impressive too of the mountain range The Rivals. The shower and toilet blocks are clean and well laid out. In front of the block there is a nice covered chill out area with great views of the sea too. We visited in late March so it wasn’t really warm enough to sit out there but thought in the summer it would be a great place to enjoy spending some time. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough if you are thinking of staying here you can’t help but enjoy it. Thank you to the owners for providing such a lovely place to stay. We will definitely be back 😃

Perfect little hideaway in the most incredible surroundings I can't recommend enough.
The pod itself was really clean, the bed was as comfortable as you could expect on a futon, I have absolutely no complaints.
The toilet and shower block was clean and well kept.
I would have no hesitation returning, if I'm back in the area this will definitely be the first place I look up.

I stayed in one of the glamping pods. The pod was so cute and had everything I needed. Really l9vely semi-private space.
The view over the sea was absolutely incredible, it was like an exclusive viewing of the sunset.

Beautiful views, over looking the sea from the pods with electricity available and a nice fire pit just outside. Many things to do near by and only 30 minute drive from snowdonia. Welcoming owners and overall great price for what you got.

My husband and I stayed in Dandelion (pod) on the weekend that storm Arwen hit!
We had the most fantastic time. The pod was basic but just perfect. Efficient and effective mini log burner made for cosy, romantic bolt hole for our two nights. A beautiful, relaxing place with such a good vibe.
We can’t wait to come back again.

We camped on a large open field which offered beautiful views and a very relaxed feel. We liked the rustic, quirky feeling that the whole site offered and loved that the beach was so accessible. The people that own the site have clearly put a lot of thought into not commercialising it and offer a unique place to camp. We felt very secure during our stay and I’m sure if we’d had any problems they would have been addressed straight away. Our host for the four days was helen, a lovely lady who was always on hand. Their use of upcycling materials and honesty boxes etc reflected on the general ambience and it was such a pleasurable stay. The only downside was that the screens in the showers didn’t give much access to the shower itself, the sinks were a little to small for general face washing especially with the shelves just above. If this is the only fault we can give then it’s only minor and no!reason for us not to return again.

The site is easy to find and the welcome from Ben, the host that day, was very excellent. I was shown around, not just my pitch but also everything on the site, there are a lot of facilities (although the bar is obviously not functioning during lockdown). The showers and wash rooms are really well set out and very clean, I would even go so far as to say 'posh' for a campsite. The shower is really warm and the water temperature constant. I was staying on 'the glade', this was a recon visit to check it out before booking again with my wife. The pitch was very sheltered, very big and had its own fridge (!) on the pitch and power supply, firewood is available and a very good price (£5 a bag), lighter fluid was provided on the pitch. The site is well laid out and there are lights leading you to the bathrooms at night. The distance from my pitch to the bathrooms was 2 minutes and the walk to the beach was under two minutes. All the pitches and pods are laid out so you really do feel the place is your own. Then to the beach....I stayed for two nights and I can honestly say that for most of that I had the beach completely to myself, there was no one in any direction, it was amazing. I took food and stove down to the beach and just watched the wildlife and there is lots of it. A couple of other campers came down with paddle boards, the water was perfect for this and I will organise that for next time. This is an oasis of calm where you can switch off and listen to the sound of the waves, it is truly stunning and words really cannot do it justice. We will be back to this site many times.

We stayed in one of the pods which was lovely, loved that it was semi-isolated and had unbeatable views of the beach and the ocean. Toilet and shower facilities very clean and overall much better than your average campsite. Only things that could maybe be improved is the welcome information could be clearer/more detailed, and the pod we stayed in could’ve been a bit cleaner as there were old cobwebs and dust in the corners and there were lots of trinkets on shelves that were covered in a thick layer of dust which set of my allergies quite bad. However I wouldn’t let this put me off staying again and I would definitely recommend staying here!

This place is amazing! We stayed in one of the 2 pods onsite. The pods can be quite complex to get to but the site offer trolleys and wheelbarrows. This didn't bother us as it added to part of the experience. The views are superb overlooking the sea. It is about 30 mins drive to mount snowdon so not too far away. It is quiet, peaceful and so relaxed. The staff are friendly too. Will definitely look to stay here again next year.

We stayed in the Burdock glamping pod and it did not disappoint! Incredible views of the beach and a quirky little path up to it over a stream and up a hill (be warned though it can be a tricky climb with lots of bags to trek to your pod!). We had everything we needed and everyone we met was very helpful. Make sure to bring cash with you for buying extra wood for your outdoor or indoor fire- something we forgot!
We'd gladly return again for another peaceful and private getaway

Having just spent Easter weekend camping here with my friends I can honestly say I can't recommend this place enough. Great attention to detail across the entire site with pods, cottages and camping spots scattered across the grounds with privacy and great views. Lovely, hot showers and toilets. Warm and friendly bar with hosts that are always on hand should you need them. We had a Sunday roast which was fantastic with vegan and vegetarian options. We will definitely be back!!

Nestled between the marvellous mountains and wild sea, this little pod was the perfect place to be amongst nature at it's most handsome. The Pods are beautifully decorated and well equipped. Eating breakfast on the veranda, watching the sea rolling in and out was a particular delight. Our stay was incredibly comfortable and our hosts, Johnny and Helen, couldn't have been more welcoming. We can't recommend Bach Wen highly enough. We'll certainly be back for more soon!

Beautiful site nestled at the foot of Snowdonia with its own beach. The facilities are well designed and nicely realised and the bar-dining-communal area is large enough to be accommodating but small enough to be intimate. A short walk up through the pretty little village leads to stunning views of Anglesey and a short drive takes you up the coast to Caernarfon. Recommended.

I have stayed at Bach Wen Farm several times now.... as a guest in the cottages, under canvas and more recently in one of the stunning pods. Each visit has been different and each spectacularly fabulous! As someone who enjoys home comforts the shower block was a real luxury when camping. Stylish fixtures and fittings and plenty of hot water and always clean and tidy. The barn with its bar and food is an added bonus and many evenings have been spent with the hospitable owners Helen and Johnny putting the world to rights over a glass of wine. The setting is the stuff of dreams.... it's own private beach and well equipped play area meant the children were always exploring and happy. Bach Wen also boasts some of the best sunsets I have ever encountered. It has become a place very dear to me and my family (including our 2 dogs) and I cannot recommend it enough.
