Great Site for Contained Camping
We were the first campers to stay at Wren’s Nest, so glad to find this private site. Wren’s Nest is a new site and the host has plans for additional features so stay tuned as this property evolves. Currently it’s great for car and tent campers that bring their own water and latrine. You have a choice of open field or slightly wooded site near the water. There had been a lot of rain just before our stay and AWD/4WD helped get across the field. We set up near the water and our stay was very enjoyable and private. Keep your camera handy because this is a great spot to take pictures of Great Blue Herons and Bufflehead ducks. As an added bonus, there is a 7-Eleven and grocery store nearby for those forgotten items as well as a pizza joint for a carry out fire side pizza.
Caution: For directions use the actual street address, If you use the Hipcamp directions instead of the street address, your map wants you to go to Lovers Lane and you will go past the driveway.
