Great stay! Really helpful instructions prior to check in, the yurt was so cool. Plenty extras things to make the stay easier. Beautiful site. I will be back with the rest of my family for sure.

Great two day stay. Perfect size for two adults. My son and I enjoyed the location in SW Virginia. Spent an evening in Floyd ( short ride) to experience live bluegrass . Well equipped so that you forget it’s a Yurt!

The yurt itself was nice looking , we stayed in the three-story but that's where it ended. immediately after arrival we decided not to stay the whole time . We were honestly there about 24 hours total before we left. when we walked around things look nice but once we were getting ready to settle in we discovered dog hair covering the living room furniture so much that it was uncomfortable to sit on ,so we didn't and there was also a strong urine smell coming from the rugs in the living room. the shower we could never get it to work for us and this was all the first night. We tried to walk the trails but you couldn't even do that because there were no signs posted and they seem to go nowhere they all just ended abruptly. Also the outdoor deck was filthy the furniture looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years and I understand this is outside but this is not normal nature this is neglect. Honestly I feel like I should be entitled to a some partial refund because of everything being so bad and this was our first little getaway in few years , we don't have a lot of money and when we go somewhere we really want it to be a great and enjoyable time . Mostly because we never can go away , we will definitely not be using this app anymore . this was a horrible experience for us & if you don't mind something that's not well maintain then this would be for you . if it had upkeep it would be a nice place to visit. Apparently it's all about the money that they make , idk .

Brought my girlfriend to Cozy Yurts for her birthday. We stayed Friday night and would have stayed longer but it was already booked. We loved the yurt. It was very welcoming and had everything we needed. If you are looking for a cozy romantic getaway I highly recommend Cozy Yurts.

I absolutely loved this weekend away in the mountains. It was perfect. The rain storms we experienced while there were magical. My favorite part was listening to the rain pitter patter on the yurt. It was so peaceful and relaxing.

We loved staying at Erika's yurt. It was cozy, whimsical and stocked with everything we needed. Our two kids enjoyed exploring the trails and playing with the dog. Would recommend and would return.

The yurt was amazing! Erika has thought of everything!! My husband described it as a Costa Rica vibe in the mountains. We all loved the yurt(s) and property! Sad we only stayed one night but SO glad we had the one night! Comfortable beds and tons of fun hang out spaces in the yurts and games for everyone to stay entertained. We took the adventurous road and it was adventurous, memorable and fun!

We had a fantastic stay! The yurt was clean, eclectic, and homey - it had everything we could want and much more. We felt like we had our own private treehouse. Erika was so responsive and provided lots of local guidance, and we particularly loved the visits from Radar and Cosmo!

Stayed 3 nights in the 3-Story Yurt with friends over the weekend in mid-June. I do not have enough space here for all the wonderful praise I could give this lodging! The space was immaculately cleaned, cozy, inviting, and warmly rustic. The AC worked beautifully during the warm day and windows and fans alone suited the cool nights. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, the internet never failed, and the beds were perfectly comfy and warm.
The best part of staying here, though, was the rarely found peace and quiet. The 4 of us spent a good 90% of our time on the deck, looking into the woods, listening to the wind in the trees, and chatting for hours. Whether day or night, it was so quiet and remote and deeply restorative; this is the perfect place to unwind and reset from the loud hurry of life. The property doggo, Cosmo, made his rounds to check on us multiple times... and, of course, get his scritches! Hubs and I only came home yesterday and have already booked 3 nights in the single yurt for the fall because we were so enamored with this stay!

We had a great time in the yurt for two nights. The yurt was cute and quirky and the location was beautiful and quiet. We had a small problem with the heat the first night but Erika was quick to fix it! The yurt has all the utensils you need for cooking and way more ingredients than you usually find in a rental like this. The ultra local eggs in the fridge were a nice touch and we enjoyed eating them for breakfast. Even our 9 month old approved. We also had a great day doing several of the activities that Erika recommended

Very cute and quirky vibes. Everything is there that you might need, just bring your groceries. Nearby Floyd is a small, artsy town with a strong music heritage. Very peaceful and rejuvenating stay.

We LOVED Erika’s yurt! It was so cozy and wayy nicer than any other yurt I’ve ever stayed in. It had all the amenities and Erika was incredible responsive and helpful. The area is beautiful and Floyd is a cute little town. The only problem is, now I want a yurt of my own!

The 3-story yurt was absolutely awesome! Tons of room and eclectic yet had all the practical accommodation.
Communication and information was great. We enjoyed the sleeping arrangements, hang out space indoors and out, the hiking/outdoor activities, the included coffee and honor bar drinks, the giant chair, the separate lower yurt and the basement cabin sleeping are, the upper loft kids area, etc…
We do a ton of glamping type stays all over the US, and this one is at the top. Don’t hesitate- book it now!

The yurts and land here are gorgeous! I especially loved the trails on the property there’s a beautiful little creek to walk down to. I also loved the rain shower I could stay in there all night. The yurt has all the amenities you’d need and Ericka is a lovely host. One thing people should know before booking is that if you have a reactive or unpredictable dog just leave them home. Ericka has a very sweet friendly dog but he likes to roam at all hours and there are many other dogs coming and going so if that might be a problem maybe don’t bring your dogs, otherwise it was an amazing trip and so so beautiful

If you’re used to primitive car camping, this yurt is like a five-star hotel without the price of one. The beds were comfortable, the water was clean and got hot super-fast, and there were plenty of board games and books to keep my family occupied. We had a great time and wished we’d stayed longer and through the weekend so we could go take part in Floyd activities. I loved everything. We will come back and stay at this yurt regularly.
I’m from a rural Appalachian town, and I have a lot of bad memories with prejudice and hatefulness. This area did that. My lgbtq+ family felt so safe but with the southern friendly flair I still love.
So grateful for Erika and her mom and this wonderful property. We also loved Cosmo, the area dog.

Awesome, cozy spot! We loved our stay at the green yurt. The wrap around porch and outdoor table are perfect for meals and enjoying nature. Make sure to take the GPS route that passes “Huffville cemetery” or you can get into a dicey backroads situation.

We loved staying at Erika’s yurt and wished we booked a few more nights! The inside is exceptionally clean and stocked with everything we could have needed during our stay. Heating was responsive, WiFi works great, and streaming was a treat.

We had a wonderful time in the small yurt (chic mountain yurt). Extremely well stocked with amenities - we needed to use very little of what we actually brought! It stormed intensely both nights we stayed (literally had fully downed trees down the street), and there was zero issues with water in the yurt or anything else, it was pretty soothing hearing the rain hit the roof.
It was decently cold at night (30s, lower with windchill) and we were perfectly warm with the gas heater.
Erika was extremely fast responding to the few questions I had, including letting us take a look in the other yurt - the two storey one nearby. If you can spring for the larger one, you definitely won't be disappointed and we hope to visit again staying in the other yurt. Heck, I'd live in it full time. They're both beautifully decorated and cozy.
The town of Floyd nearby has lots of cute shops and there's plenty to do nearby. We went to the nearby Fairy Stone State Park and Philpott lake and despite the rain it was beautiful scenery!

The 3-story yurt was awesome for 6 people!! It was the perfect little holiday / winter retreat for a group of friends :) we did run into some issues with some things inside the yurt itself, but Ericka was super accommodating with resolving them! Ericka and her family (and Cosmo!!) were AMAZING to my friend’s dog that came with us and even helped us find her when she ran off!! Wonderful host overall :) I can’t wait to come back!

This is truly a remote location but also 25-30 minutes to the east or west you are in Floyd, VA or Blacksburg, VA. The yurts are the epitome of glamping in my book! So eclectic and cozy!
Erika is a fantastic hostess and she has made this place very cozy! If you get a chance.....BOOK THIS YURT!! Go to Floyd earlier on a Saturday for the open market. There is an amazing beer store on their lil main st....GO THERE!! And then The Farmhouse near Blacksburg....The food....Oh my word!! Make reservations or eat out on the bar patio/porch.....Did I mention their food?!!!!
Back to the Yurts....You only need your clothes and groceries. If you forget a toiletry....likely it will be there in the bathroom.....Just book this place already! We actually wish that we had booked from Thursday-Sunday. There is a lot to do in the area and the Yurts are smack dab in the middle of two great areas!

The yurt was a fantastic place to stay. Lots of room. Quirky decor. Very comfortable. Everything you need in the kitchen. Clean and on a beautiful piece of land. We enjoyed the communal fire pit a lot and the dogs and cat were great companions. Definitely recommend.

Erika's yurt was fabulous, we had so much fun just staying in and enjoying the space! It's well stocked with everything we needed, the loft bed was very comfortable, and Radar and Cosmo were the best welcoming committee and we loved the kitty company while there 😊 Will have to come back here again!!
