Nice Little Place to Get Away
It was a really nice place. I had plenty of room. Granted, I was the only one there and I was tent camping. I picked the high ground, for it was supposed to rain while I was there. The grass had recently been cut and there were 3 hay rolls in the area. Its a great area, and a short distance to Downtown Amhurst. Amhust has a lot of antique/consignment/vintage shops and a lot of nice local eateries. I enjoyed The Filling Station and Lou's Antiques.
Please note: you are near 29 and the train tracks, so you will hear some traffic and the occasional train (2 through the night). You will also hear the sounds of nature, which is calming and soothing.
I was there visiting my son at Liberty, so I didnt spend much time on site. I was hoping to get some bread and check out their vegetables. To my dismay, there were none. But, there were stickers!
It rained during the night and the morning. I was happy that the ground did not turn muddy, it was pretty solid as I drove out so no fear of getting my car stuck.
It was a great place to stay! I would do it again.
