Only 30 minutes from Roanoke, Virginia, the Peaks Retreat and Adventure Center offers a unique experience for tourists and adventurers alike. Whether you're seeking a relaxing weekend or an exciting adventure, we have everything you need any time of year. Stay in one of our charming glamping sites, each capable of sleeping 8 people, or book one of our two lodges, which can accommodate up to 40 guests apiece. Your overnight stay at either facility gives you access to some of our stunning outdoor amenities: 3 miles of hiking trails, 1-acre pond for fishing, sand volleyball court, cement basketball court, and 9-hole disc golf course. Gather around the outdoor pavilion for cozy campfires or challenge your friends to some yard games. Guests also have the option to enjoy onsite adventure activities like ziplining, a low ropes course, a climbing wall, and an outdoor pool. Glamping Site #1
Our family enjoyed glamping at Peaks so much! The tents were clean and inviting. The bathroom and showers are well lit and very clean. The drinking water they provide is delicious. We enjoyed the Frisbee golf, shooting hoops, fishing, and walking the trails. We did not take advantage of the activities that cost $$ but I'm sure they would be fun. The tents have electric in them so we took advantage of that as well. Plenty of firewood was provided. Definitely recommend this place!
