Our Farm sits on over 200 acres of family owned farmland that has been in the family for over 100 years. It is the mission of Our Farm to provide experiences, products, and a destination for folks to learn more about agriculture in the Valley and to instill a connection to the land. At this time, Our Farm is focusing on unique lodging or "glamping*" options to bring people to the farm. We are planning our Christmas tree farm now and do have grass-fed beef available upon request. This spring we are adding a garden with fresh veggies, fruit, and herbs for our visitors to partake of.

The Half-Moon Dome at Our Farm
We had a fantastic experience in the Full Moon Dome! We went to stargaze and it did not disappoint. Spacious, clean, wonderful fire pit area, and super dark for stargazing. Plus the breakfast popovers were amazing! We would absolutely recommend and come back!!

Full Moon Dome
I had the opportunity to stay in the Full Moon Dome from 11/26-11/27. Hosts, Jeremy & Remy were very accommodating and ensured that their campsite was clean/organized and easy to navigate to. I do wish that our stay was much longer, however, there will be no hesitation in booking again with these two. Thank you!!!

The Full-Moon Dome at Our Farm
Stargazing and relaxing
Our stay at the dome could not have been better. We spent most of iur time enjoying the fireside views of the fields and mountains in the distance. We were lucky enough to have crystal clear skies with amazing views of the stars, planets, and even a few shooting stars. My personal favorite was the relaxing morning by the fire cooking breakfast and taking in all the natural beauty around us. This is definitely a place I'd love to bring my friends and family to again in the future.

The Half-Moon Dome at Our Farm
2ppl & dog, stargazing and hiking
Remy's Half Dome was excellent for our two day , two nights stargazing and Shenandoah hiking trip. The star in the valley wine, popovers/scones, a cut of steak were amazing touches. We also appreciate borrowing a frying pan for our breakfast eggs. Our first night temperatures rested well around 28-30degrees. We thankfully had a propane heater we turned on for the coldest hours of the night. (Mr heater flex). I would recommend bringing an insulated sleeping bag possibly if it gets below freezing. Thanks to the freezing we encountered 0 ticks on our tick magnet husky. She loved running in the open field and grass and felt very much at home. The view of the stars at night was amazing, there is a clear view of the sky from all angles. we attended the beginning of the Leonids meteor shower and saw approximately 15 shooting stars over the 2 nights with minimal effort. Buzzard rock was a very surprisingly beautiful, not crowded, pleasant hike to an amazing cliffside. For 2 people cooking, drinking, and washing cutlery we brought approximately 5-7 gallons of water. The compost toilet was perfectly fine, minimal smell and much preferable to a porter potty by miles. If you've never used one after doing your business you scoop wood chips into the toilet to cover it. We hope to stay again in the 4 person dome, we saw it was better insulated and it has a nice secluded spot a further away from the road which had a few cars driving by to the neighborhood/houses down the road.

The Full-Moon Dome at Our Farm
Great Stay!
This was such an excellent stay! Remy was an excellent host - very kind and helpful. More than willing to offer a complimentary bottle of wine from a local vineyard and to offer restaurant recommendations in the area. The Dome itself came very well stocked with all the essentials (and a few luxuries!). The bed in the dome is very comfortable and made for a great couple nights sleep. Did get a bit cool overnight, but there were several extra blankets in the event that the covers on the bed were insufficient. We would absolutely stay in this space again! When you’re staying at the dome, make sure to do some stargazing if you can!

The Full-Moon Dome at Our Farm
We thoroughly enjoyed being guests on the farm. Remy had the best hospitality and her scones were delicious. Remy was quick in communicating and knew what was around in the event we couldn’t make food or have a fire. The rain was so peaceful falling on the dome. Would love to stay longer next time.
