Oliver Farm RV Site
Pros:
- Super sweet couple
- Very attentive when there is an issue
- Beautiful camp site
- If you need anything, Chris and Melissa will try to accommodate such as cooking utensils and such
- Only about a 45 min. drive to Chincoteague which is a lot of fun
- Very nice fire pit and Chris and Melissa provide you firewood to use
- Very understanding. Our dog got sick on the rug the first night and Melissa just said she’d throw it in the wash and she understands. Also, refunded our last day when my wife got sick and we needed to leave.
- Leave a decent selection of DVDs (about 8 or 9) and a TV and DVD player
- Citronella candle provided
Cons:
- It was not clear in the listing that there is a porta potty that is for #2 because it’s just a tiny camp-style toilet inside the RV that can’t really handle solids
- There are bugs abound (flies, mosquitoes, beetles). The bugs find their way inside (about half a dozen flies seemed to consistently be inside despite keeping the solid door shut always after the first few days)
- The water tank is still what you’d have on a camper. The second night I ran the water out after a short shower (5-10 min.). At that point, a hose was connected to keep a constant supply of water to the tank
- ….. but the whole area loses water pressure when the fire department goes to fill their tanks. So then my wife lost pressure during her shower a day or two later
- No cell phone reception

This former marine has created a little paradise that is peaceful and quiet in a wooded field behind his home. Fresh eggs, homemade strawberry jelly and honey make the stay here yummy! He takes care of the Assateague Island which is a short drive north and so worth seeing!!!

Oliver Farm RV Site
My kids and I had a great time staying at the RV on Oliver Farm. The kids loved seeing the goats and picking blackberries. Night time was magical with the fire pit going and fireflies dancing all around us. The hosts greeted us to show us how to work everything in the RV and were very accommodating and kind. Would highly recommend and will hopefully be back!

This was such a perfect and relaxing space to spend some time!! Me, my partner, and our dog stayed at Oliver Farm and would go back again in a heartbeat! The area has plenty of activities in close proximity but it’s also very peaceful at the camper and our favorite thing was just relaxing under the trees by the campfire. The camper is incredibly well equipped - Mellissa and Chris made sure everything was thought out for our trip and provided all the essentials and then some!! The bed is so comfortable, the kitchen was perfect for cooking meals and there were mulberry trees abounding with plump berries. We also saw an abundance of critters including a beautiful lunar moth and cute little frogs. Seriously, do yourself a favor and stay here because it’s the perfect space.
