We enjoyed our stay with Keri! She was very welcoming and showed us around when we arrived. The tent area is private as it is below the pool. The site is very level as well. Having a shower and bathroom made this the perfect place for us after hiking. The location is beautiful and also quiet. Very convenient to town with a great selection of restaurants and stores, yet convenient to all the great local hiking spots. Keri’s restaurant reco was perfect and we ate there twice 👍 Definitely recommend Keri’s place if you are looking to camp for a few days in this beautiful part of VA.

Absolutely marvelous time!!! Amazing hospitality! Super safe and especially quiet. Even got to see fireflies! Traveled with my 9 year old son and we definately made lots of great memories. Everything needed was there. After a long day out exploring beautiful Salem and Roanoke, returned and relax, enjoying the majestic nature. Lots of space to setup the huge tent I brought. It was huge! Will fefinately stay again when visiting Salem and Roanoke.

It's not really camping when it's this nice. Fire ring, free firewood and the nicest bathroom in Hipcamp land. You won't be disappointed, you might not want to leave.

I set up my tent in Keri’s spacious backyard. It was still very private and I had access to the full bathroom and kitchen in their basement. They also have a beautiful pool and outdoor kitchen that I did not take advantage of. I was the only camper there at the time, but my stay could not have gone any better. Will definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

We had a very nice stay here - it was just what we needed; a quiet, private space to use as a base while we explored Roanoke. Keri did everything she could to make it easy and comfortable for us and there was very thorough communication.
