Mother Earth is 3 miles from I-77, exit #8, 3 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, and sits in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The yurt is 15 mins from Mt Airy NC which is a destination for outdoors activities, wineries, breweries, and has a gorgeous downtown area. Fancy Gap is famous for the BRPW, hiking, mountain biking, and all types of outdoor activities. Mother Earth has a walk in shower, soaking tub, bluetooth music, wifi, and a hot tub. a full kitchen and washer and dryer. I provide all your paper products, coffees, creamer, sugar, shower products and more. it’s in a wooded area with nice views and wildlife in abundance. This yurt is comfortable all year long with a minisplit for heat and air conditioning, and a propane fireplace. This yurt has easy access and parking right in front. The deck is gated for toddlers and pets. Our pet fee is an additional $25 left on the counter.Mother Earth is a cozy welcoming spot, as soon as you drive into the driveway. There are three yurts at different elevations for privacy. There are all types of nearby outdoor activities, a 15 min drive to Mt Airy with various wineries, breweries, distilleries, a bike trail, and lots of hiking in Fancy Gap, just a few minutes from the yurt site. Enjoy the soothing hottub after a full day of activities, enjoy the starlight show thru the dome, and relax and live!

Great experience overall. There was some miscommunication about the door code and pet fees but the host was very responsive. Will probably stay here again.

Such a lovely little place! Had all the essentials we needed. Very clean. Host was great to communicate with. We will definitely be staying here again.

Lovely yurt

Mother Earth

Our stay at Mother Earth was excellent. We had a very quick trip met with a bit of rain. However, the rainy sounds were so very relaxing. The yurt is decorated nicely, the hot tub was great and Jodee’s communication was wonderful!

Mother Earth was the most perfect stay! We absolutely loved the location and aesthetic of the Yurt, fully enjoyed the campfire, hot tub and views! Jodee provided everything necessary for a peaceful and comfortable stay. We’d come back!!!
