The Baby Goats were the Cutest!!

We certainly were pleasantly surprised to be able to camp in the goat field. When the goat farmer removed the goats for feeding into another fenced in field, our dog could run around. The porta-john onsite was a plus.

My daughters camped with Little Goat Farm and while they enjoyed feeding the goats the situation turned very unprofessional and stressful on account of the hosts.
They were on a road trip and stopped in the DC area a few days. I reached out to several different hosts because of their ages.
I wrote:
"Hello, Hip camp counts age 17 as an adult. My 3 daughters ages 17, 15, and 10 are visiting some historical sites this weekend... The 17 year old is almost 18 and all of them have camped extensively their whole lives. Would they be able to camp at your place if you had availability? Thanks"
The Little Goat Farm host responded with "yes :)"
From there I booked a site and received confirmation from Hip Camp. However, on the day of their arrival, I reached out to see what time they could check in and was informed that despite their booking they did not have space available! I had to find a last minute back up plan, but in the meantime my daughter informed me that she had called the Goat Farm host and they were able to work it out.
The girls stayed 3 nights with no problems. However the morning they were supposed to leave the host came and asked if their mom [I ] was there. She then commenced to threaten that they would have to pay a $60 fine and then threatened to call the police if they didn't leave in the next 10 minutes! A terrible way to treat guests who did nothing wrong or illegal!
Since their stay last week, Goat Farm has updated their policies to say no underage campers.

Bob and Susanne are the nicest people. So warm and welcoming. They were very generous with their time. The animals on the farm are very fun and incredible experiences for kids. The property is right up on the beautiful lake manassas. Just a great time and memories. Thank you Bob and Susanne !

Bob and Susanne’s space was pretty and they were SO kind! We loved meeting their pups and goats! They let us bottle feed the sweet baby goats in the morning. Such a great experience 💛

LOVE this “Little Goat Farm by the Lake”!!!! I had such a wonderful experience here. Bob and Susane are friendly, gracious, hardworking hosts who were so generous with sharing their space and time. The baby goats were soo adorable and it was wonderful to get out on that beautiful lake to kayak!! I cannot say enough good things and cannot wait to return!

This was worth every penny or dollar. We loved feeding the baby goats and bunnies. The chickens were...well...chickens. Lots of goats. It is a little work, but worth the extra time. We enjoyed our time and you will too.

This was the BEST camping at the little goat farm than all the other 22 camp sites we have been. We have cancelled our other camp and asked Bob if we could stay another month. We have really enjoyed feeding chickens, little goats, beautiful alpacas not to mention so much we have learned. The views are spectacular, swimming and fishing the clear clean lake and the exquisite quiet and calm of this land all take my breath away. They dont have many sites available so you are lucky if you can get in plus the other 2 campers have stayed on since last year because they all love being here too. You couldn't ask for better hosts than Bob and Susane!

Little Goat Farm at the Lake
My stay has been amazing. Susane and Bob are very welcoming and kind. Learning how to feed the goats, chickens, alpaca, and donkey is interesting and fun. All of the animals are fed well and cared for. The work makes the day go by fast and there is something to do everyday to keep things interesting. It has been a pleasure to experience what working on a goat farm is all about. I definitely recommend staying.

I loved camping on Susane’s land! The views were beautiful, and the directions were clear. I loved the animals, and most importantly, I loved the host! Susane went above and beyond expectations. Loves hanging out with her.

What a wonderful experience! I'm a traveling nurse and my spouse and I stayed here during my contract. My spouse worked 4 hours Monday through Friday on the farm to cover our stay. The biggest part of the work is feeding the animals and then little things here and there around the farm. We didn't realize how much work a farm is until this stay. Susane and Bob have been wonderful hosts and we would definitely stay here again.
We travel with dogs and there are plenty of places for the dogs to explore. It's extremely quiet here so after a day of hustle and bustle this has been a wonderful spot to come back to.
If you are looking for a unique experience, look no further! Goats, chickens and bunnies are waiting for new faces.

Unfortunately, We did not have a good experience & did not complete our stay at this location. What was stated in the listing, as well as spoken about, before we arrived, was NOT what was at the location, upon arrival. As well as, what we paid for, was not available. Which my husband & I felt was quite sad & distasteful, as we were excited & looking forward to this place/experience. Well, try again next time!!!
