This is a flat area of the campground that you must park and walk 50 yards to. The ground is sand which makes for a soft tent spot, but the sand and the trees coupled with the narrow scape make it to difficult to drive in. It is also slow moving water in very close proximity to the highway bridge and neighbors driveway making for more traffic noise than the rest of the campground. It is creek side with easy access to the water but there is no fresh water or electricity nearby. It also completely shaded in the summer months. It is about 100 yard walk to the bathroom and 200 yards to kitchen, communal firepit, and main stage area. If you have a large group with multiple tents this area will accommodate, just make multiple bookings or message me to negotiate.

Closest site to the bathroom. It is perfect for backing in a camper trailer up to 24 feet. Site offers 50 and 30 amp as well as a 110. Does not have a lot of available shade mid day. This site has an decline but there are flat spots for the camper and or a tent with a beautiful creek view and a water fall feature to soothe you to sleep.

Large site with lots of shade, easy access to the creek, 30 amp hookup, and a large tent pad. Easy pull through for a trailer. And while it isn't completely level everywhere, it is where you will park the camper and pop up the tent. Centrally located in the campground but still offers the most privacy. Only negative is you may be subject to frequent duck crossings as they like to go in and out of the creek here........and is that really even a negative?

Easiest site to get in and out of if you plan on taking a lot of trips to town. It is perfect for a tent or motorhome up to 30 feet, much more difficult for a normal sized camper trailer. This is a flat site with a beautiful creek view and a water fall feature to soothe you to sleep. Includes a 30 amp, 50 amp, and 110 volt outlet, also the shortest walk to the bathroom

Chrome Dreams is the largest site. Good for a large group and is a great spot to back in your larger camper trailer. (Over 24 ft) It is waterfront and located on the right side of the entrance way with a short walk to the restroom but farthest from the stage, community firepit, and kitchen. Tends to have slightly more traffic noise than a few of the other sites and less available shade. Situating your camper and awning in the right way can help alleviate these short comings however.

On The Beach

Not really a beach! Flat and distant from traffic noise. Right on the water with electric and water hookups. Very close to both stages and kitchen but a 75 yard walk to the bathroom. This is a long site but narrow so very tricky for a travel trailer. More ideal for a van or tent camping or small motor home (24 ft) Also has a great hammock spot

Tucked in the back. Its flat and shaded. Very narrow, however, so can only accomadate smaller campers, 16ft and under. Has water and 30 amp hookup but it comes from the solar panels, so can not us air conditioning at night in this site. Great view of the creek and close to the kitchen. Longer walk to the bathroom. Definitely a van favorite

Site is very flat and shaded also, private tucked into the corner with a great view of the creek and easy access to. It is, however, closest to traffic noise(drowned out by the creek rapids), and also, offers no water or electric. Long walk to the bathroom but very close to the kitchen. It is best suited for tents or vans but you can get a tear drop camper or slightly bigger in. Isnt booked often, but those who stay there fall in love with it.

Great stay! Me and my mister wanted to go on a spontaneous camping night and this was a perfect spot, friendly security(can’t remember his name at the moment), access to campfire wood and the bathroom was very nice! we had a beautiful view when we woke up in the morning aswell, and the pup loved it just as much! Had a little trouble navigating where to find it at first but it was also nighttime when we finally made it I’m sure it’s much easier to spot during the day time :)

Jeremy's place was perfect. Easy access to our spot. We were traveling so only able to stay one night. I was very appresiative of the hot shore on property. The communal Kitchen and fire pit were awesome. We hope to enjoy them more on another stay. Jeremy has vision and is working to make this a perfect place to hang out and kick back for a few days. We will be back. Thanks for letting us stay.

We really enjoyed this hipcamp. We do a lot of hipcamps and this one definitely goes right into our favorites . Really clean and well kept. Great host, nice sites, good spacing and probably the nicest bathroom of any hipcamp I've been to. The little town of Floyd is quite a treat also. Thanks, Jeremy , you are doing a great job down there at hippie hollow. We'll see you again!!

We had a great stay at Hippie Hollow. Our dogs were able to be off leash and mingle with the other dogs and cats. We had a great spot along the creek and perfect view of the full moon! It is more of a community vibe, with a communal kitchen and fire place where everybody mingles.

It was a nice, quiet site right beside a babbling brook. It beats camping in the middle of dozens of huge and noisy homes on wheels. Only about three minutes from Floyd, which was handy. Several dogs had free run of the campsite, but they all seemed friendly. Only one person can be in the bathroom at a time, which was slightly inconvenient, but it appears to be early days and there are some improvements apparently in the works.

Chill communal campsite

This is a special place. The small campground is nestled along a creek just outside of Floyd. There are fire pits and picnic tables at each site. However, there is a large communal firepit, an outdoor kitchen, and stage in the center of the campground that invites people to come together. It was chilly the night we arrived and one of the guys built an awesome bonfire in the communal firepit. Instead of everyone being at their own campsites, the bonfire brought people together while we listened to music on the stage. The campground is also dog friendly, with well-trained dogs roaming off leash in little packs running about. There was a nice social atmosphere. Everyone at the campground was chill. There's also a small shower house with flush toilet and hot water. Jeremy's spot is real nice.

Tucked beside a babbling creek, this sweet little spot offered clean grounds, safe space, and a sense of welcome. Jeremy, the host, greeted us with firewood, stories, and a spirit of generosity that made us feel right at home.

Hippie Hollow is the perfect basecamp for enjoying a visit to Floyd. The streamside setting is idyllic, there is a large outdoor kitchen available if you need it, and restroom and shower facilities. We will definitely stay there again for future visits to Floyd.

If you’re hoping for a sliced up, glorified parking lot where you’re staring at the back of a 36 footer, DO NOT try Hippie Hollow! Seriously, this little slice of heaven is a true gem for those who like to be surrounded by nature and salt-of-the-Earth individuals. From the babbling creek to the community kitchen…the live music and community bonfires. ..it’s by far the best camping spot we’ve found since the hubby and I bought our camper. And if you’re not one to socialize-don’t worry! Each individual campsite is situated in a way that you can join the crowd or keep to yourselves. My only complaint is that every time we stay somewhere else, we are disappointed.

I rented a spot next to the street and is was perfect. The kitchen was great, the bathroom, clean and new, the private swimming hole was wonderful and everyone staying there was friendly and thoughtful. Thanks! I hope to come back this fall for a couple nights and again in the spring. 🙏

The host is a vibe! Relaxing and intimate. Very friendly people. Dog of the leash and chickens roaming! We loved it. Our dog really needed this as well lol a little waterfall behind us caused us to have a peaceful sleep. Come here you won't regret it.

The site was ideal for my popup and close to the creek. The outdoor kitchen was amazing and the bathroom was very clean. Enjoyed socializing with Jeremy, Huck, Grant and Lindsey around a campfire by the creek. Looking forward to a future stay! Cheers!

I'm so glad I found Hippie Hollow and the very special new friends I feel I was meant to meet during my stay. It was exactly what I needed while traveling unexpectedly sooner than planned, and facing some personal struggles in my life. Jeremy went went above and beyond the typical "above and beyond" of many hosts I've encountered. His kindness and comfort allowed me to forget much of the narrative that had been playing in my mind that days of driving tend to exacerbate... It was perfect for someone like me who is more concerned with being immersed in the beauty of nature than any luxurious accommodation will ever offer. The simple, yet cozy details of the camper and the surrounding beautifully built structures and manicured grounds we're perfect for me. I look forward to spending a few more days on my return trip to connect and enjoy this magical place and the people who make the magic! We had the best time staying at Hippie Hollow! Jeremy was a great host and his land is beautiful. This is the perfect spot for relaxing/spending time in nature or seeing the town of floyd.. whatever you prefer, you can’t go wrong here! The creek was easily accessible and so much fun for the whole family, even our pup! The free fire wood located right next to our site was also a huge plus. We loved it and hope to make it back soon :)
