Nestled in Western Loudoun Wine Country is a unique 4-acre glamping site featuring a 33-foot-diameter geodesic dome greenhouse, a rustic tiny home cabin with a viking flair, and a fire pit campsite area for a few tents. Secret DC promoted Lovettsville as the most “laid-back” town in America in an October 2025 article. Steven Bryant loves gardening and caring for plants and is currently laying the groundwork for a small native nursery. Rebecca Bryant is a licensed massage therapist and uses the dome as her session space in addition to overnight accommodations. Other features: • Easy access to parking and neighboring bike paths. • A 3-minute drive to restaurants, convenience stores, a grocery co-op, a community center, and more. • Braziers and some firewood can be provided for outdoor cooking and socializing around a fire and can usually be situated next to your camping location. There is a communal fire pit located close by and is normally open for use from October through April. No open ground fires permitted at any time. • Surrounded by a plethora of small farms, wineries, distilleries, breweries, pubs, and equestrian riding trails. • Located 50 miles west of Washington, D.C., and just a 2-minute drive to the Potomac River and C&O Canal Towpath. Only 15 minutes from Harpers Ferry, WV, and close to biking, whitewater rafting, and tubing adventures. • The perfect getaway for those craving a peaceful, therapeutic break without sacrificing all the modern conveniences. Ideal for beginner campers, wine enthusiasts, and cyclists. • Neither dome or cabin have air conditioning, or heating, but the owners can supply a fan(s) by request when weather is very hot (above 85 degrees) and space heater(s) can be supplied by request when weather is very cold (below freezing). Both the Geodesic Dome and the Tiny Home Cabin have electricity. There is no plumbing in either structure. • The vibe is "working farm," with a barn, gardens, and pets. You may see tractors, the resident cat and dogs, and various projects usually centered around sustainability improvements. The neighbors are more or less out of sight, and all camp spots are out of sight of the public road. But the parking area is shared and you may encounter the friendly folks who live here.

Rustic Tiny Viking Cabin

100%
(3)
Tiny home · Sleeps 3 · 1 bedroom · 1 bed · 1 toilet
The cabin features one queen sized bed and room for 1 more individual cot or sleeping pads, but it's a tight fit for 3, so we recommend 2 at a time for booking. The interior, including the bed, is 13.5 feet long by 6.5 feet wide. It's only a short walk to the outhouse. Guests have raved about how cute and comfortable it is! There are motion sensor lights installed for night-time bathroom visits. Cooking can be done outside over a brazier or the campsite fire-pit. Guests are also welcome to bring their own camp-stoves and other outdoor cooking gear as well as order delivered food. There are also several local restaurants within a two mile radius. From mid-April to mid-November there is a hot and cold running outdoor shower located a very short walk away with excellent water pressure. Free firewood is available for the fire-pit and designated braziers. Medieval decor in the photos is not included.
