Get away from it all when you stay among nature in this secluded off-grid tiny cabin in the forest. Complete with outdoor grill, fire pit, picnic table, well maintained outhouse, miles of trails and a large swimming or fishing pond. This is a secluded off grid location without power, wifi, or cell service, so be prepared to UNPLUG and unwind. Firewood for your first campfire is provided along with one tank of propane to run the indoor camp stove. Five gallons of drinking water are included with coffee and a French press. There is a cooler, so just bring ice for your groceries. Please include an extra rental fee of $20 for pets. Multiple firewood bundles can be waiting for you at $8 each (a decent fire's worth per bundle).This is a secluded Off-Grid A frame cabin in the woods of our 66 acres. We live on the property along with another traditional cabin. Water can be collected from a community mountain spring in the clearing by the main house. There is no cell coverage at the cabin, but we have installed a cell signal amplifier at the pond and have great cell and data service from the nearest Verizon tower (several carriers use this network). Others may be iffy. During late fall/winter hunting season, you may encounter a deer being dressed from the deer hanger. There will occasionally be a tractor or two running during the day. Wear something orange while exploring close to the property line at the top of the mountain during the first and last hours of daylight. We will notify you the day before if my husband or father-in-law (experienced hunters) plan to be in the woods. We welcome all walks of life here, including dogs who get along well with other animals. Our dog, Silas, runs free and may try to follow you on your hikes. Just let us know if he is a pest. We look forward to meeting you and yours!

Beautiful place
This is a beautiful place. Much nicer than I expected. The outhouse is the nicest I have ever seen. The site feels very private.

Whole experience was fantastic. The property was beautiful, the A-frame was well maintained and very comfortable. And big Silas the tour guide was the highlight of our stay. Would recommended to anyone stopping in that area.

Beautiful hidden A frame
Loved this place so much! We loved being secluded in the woods with just a short walk to the pond. Our dogs loved all the water and hiking around. Silas showed us all around and had our pups so tired! Seriously this little place was just so perfect. Bring sheets and pillows but they had everything else! For future guests(they don’t use Hipcamp as often so try finding on Airbnb). There are two entrances, the first you have to drive further so the stay left at the fork won’t make sense but keep driving past the pond and it’s on your right.

Great spot near Floyd, cool little cabin on some beautiful land. Hike, Hang Out, Zipline or head into Floyd. Good times!
