Completely renovated in 2019, our private forest cabin in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Albemarle wine/brewery country is perfect for getaways, weddings, and outdoor enthusiasts. A picturesque oasis with an eco-friendly design (Separett composting toilet!), the cabin has a loft with a queen bed and sleeper sofa in the living area, 3 porches, private parking, neighborhood swimming pond, hiking trails right out your door, Crozet 10 mins, Wintergreen 30 mins; Cville 20 mins, Shenandoah 15 mins. The space Our cozy cabin is nestled in pristine Miran Forest about 150 yards from our home. Once a small barn, this completely renovated cottage maintains its rustic charm with a clean modern style. There is a large sitting deck outside the upstairs loft bedroom looking out onto the forest canopy and another downstairs with an eating space, hammock, rocking chairs, and couch to enjoy outdoor living. Trails leave from the cabin down to a babbling creek. The cabin has a compact kitchen with brand new appliances, including a 2-burner cooktop, microwave, toaster oven, and compact fridge. Our small, light-filled cabin is rustic, with lots of natural wood, with all the comforts of a brand new living space. The state-of-the-art Separett Villa waterless composting toilet is environmentalism at its best. Sliding doors open to the front and back, a window seat looks out on mature forest, and an eat-in counter makes for easy comfort.
