Great tent camping location, was perfect for us. Instructions were very clear and Tiffany gave excellent guidance and a map. Parking was easy and plenty to do nearby. Would definitely recommend!

First time ever camping on someone else’s land wish I knew about this a while back. Very easy Tiffany was great responded back quick and straightforward. Very quiet and peaceful.

Good site, lovely little place to have a campfire and pitch a tent. But not exactly a wilderness getaway. It’s close to the road, you’ll hear cars passing, and neighbors can look down on the campsite from their homes.

I really enjoyed the site it was spacious. The trail was really nice, gave me a sense of connecting with nature. I just wish that there was a large growth of trees or bushes to separate the area from the subdivision that was across from it. Yes, I would go back again but I probably would get the other site that's further up in the woods. I enjoyed hearing the chickens early in the morning and they did come to visit me while I was on site. Thanks for having me.

Tiffany was a lovely host, and her property is beautiful. Close to town, but tucked away enough to have some privacy and camp under beautiful oaks.

Really nicely set up quiet spot, with a picnic table, fire pit and small solar powered lights all around the camp area. Close to a Walmart, some restaurants and other stores, but still secluded enough to feel like you’re getting away from it all. 10/10 would recommend

We used Flower and Fields Farm Hipcamp for a two night stay while attending a NASCAR race. I have no hesitation to recommend this place to others who are looking for an inexpensive safe place to tent overnight in a private surrounding.
I found prior reviews for Flower and Fields Farm to be accurate. The tent site is secluded and in a private setting. Yes, there were insects but no more than usual. We were able to easily tolerate the insects by burning a Citronella candle and applying bug spray.
I felt very safe during the two nights we stayed. Although we spoke only briefly, Tiffany, the host, seems pleasant and accommodating without being intrusive.
The driveway is easy to miss. I recommend trusting your GPS and watching for the house number which is clearly displayed on an adjacent tree at the road side. The shady tent site is accessed by driving past Tiffany's house and a few other out-buildings then a short distance through the woods on a dirt path/road.
I would use this Hipcamp again if needing a tent site in the area.

The Host was very friendly and the fire-pit was well furnished. This campsite would be decent if it were not for the seemingly new development/house on the adjacent property which is only 100-200 feet away from the campsite.
I do not want to give the host a negative review, but the property itself is just not setup for Hipcamp. I think there is potential to clear out a spot further in the woods (and from the new house) to make this location Hipcamp worthy

We loved this site! Mosquitoes were crazy (but it just rained) but they left bug spray out for us which was much appreciated! Super private and incredible to be so close to Walmart or anything else we might need. Thank you for having us!

The location was great! Due to some poor planning on my part I didn’t check the weather and it was storming the whole time but we still had a blast here and Tiffany was kind enough to extend our check out so we could sleep a bit longer.
Will definitely be returning in the future when the weather is better!!

Tiffany's camp is magical. There were small, edible mushrooms spawning everywhere. The site was full of herbs and natives, and otherwise beautiful, thriving plants. You can feel the love, thought, and care that went into creating this space. I can't wait to come back and stay more than one night

Very peaceful and relaxing spot to camp. It's very close to Richmond and 95, but it feels secluded and like you're in the middle of the woods. Love the set up, will definitely book again! Thank you!!

The site was nice and private, great vibe. Lights in the trees and pathways. Perfect for the rainy night, shelter available to cook a meal and stay dry. Tiffany was sweet and accommodating. Highly recommend!

My stay at Tiffany’s site was memorable! I stayed here while attending a festival in Richmond and not only is it a 15 minute drive to the city you got a perfect little town Mechanicsville that is around you! The way the site is situated ot feels like you are in the woods but still near civilization with town being 5 minutes or so away. The site also had a hiking trail that I enjoyed hiking on a couple times they had a perfect fire pit an awning area you could hang out under (if it was raining but you still wanted to be outside), chairs and lots of room to pitch a tent or two!
This is a more than ideal place to camp if you are wanting to see Richmond or the surrounding area! Also don’t be afraid to pick Tiffany’s brain about the plants on site! I learn a lot from her the time we got to spoke and learned a lot about Herbs and some of the different healing powers each plant can have.
Looking forward to staying here again in the future as rumor has it there may be some new additions down the road 😉

Tiffany is a great host. She was so kind and accomodating. The setup was very nice and private with a firepit chairs and a nice area in the back to setup up your tent. For the price you can't beat this place. 5/5

I got in well after dark and wasn't able to find the spot, but Tiffany reached out to confirm and ultimately refunded me even after I acknowledged that not finding the site was my fault. So I can't comment on the site, but Tiffany is a generous and attentive host.

We had a great stay at Tiffany’s! It’s super close to town and was convenient for stopping on our road trip, but it’s cozy and tucked away. We felt safe and welcome as a queer couple. Tiffany has it set up to be more than just a place to sleep. We appreciated the roofed area with a small table- we ate and played games there in the drizzle. We wish we had time to explore the land and say hi to the animals! There was road noise from the highway, just to be aware if you’re a light sleeper.

We needed a quick spot near enough to get to work, and this was perfect. Only 2 minutes from a Walmart, and less than 30 from everything we needed. The shelter is cute and the marked trail was great for dog walking. We didn't have time for a fire, but appreciated the wood!

we loved camping here! though we were in a backyard, it didn’t feel that way and we had our own little slice of land to enjoy including a perfect little wooded trail to walk our dog. not only that, but everything we could possibly need was mere minutes away, including a planet fitness with nice showers. we will definitely again while in the area.
