Quiet, clean site with plenty of space for our two tents. Nice space for our dogs on their 30’ tie outs, and our kids had space to explore out to the barn and around the pasture.
Beautiful sunrise, and great spot. Highly recommended!

This was our first stay using Hipcamp and I was so pleased! It was my wife's birthday and it combined two of the things she/we love--camping and animals. Our site was super private and peaceful. If we needed anything, Katherine was very communicative and responded quickly to text/calls. I would highly recommend!

What a great place! This an amazing weekend! We stayed next to the red barn which was far enough away from everyone and the animals, but still close enough for a tour of their farm, and hiking along the property. Bruce gave us a VERY knowledgeable tour of their cows and horses. We loved how quiet it was and that it was easy to access. We will definitely be back!

My family and I had a wonderful experience camping at Dragonfly Farm, next to the creek. The land is beautiful and the site quite peaceful. The site we camped at, 'beside a creek' is tucked away in the Northeastern part of a pasture next to a gentle hill. The area is mostly level and had a campfire ring and two picnic tables. There's penty of room for several tents and a few vehicles. The other camp site is over the hill past the barn and is only visible as you drive in.
We signed up for the regenerative farm tour and it was great. Bruce showed us their farm and went into great detail on their operation, conservation practices and day to day happenings. It was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
All in all this was a great primitive camping experience. We will definitely be back.

Great spot!!! Nice and quiet campsite at the edge of the field. Easy to find, far enough away from everyone but close enough if you need something in a pinch. Campsite was level with plenty of room. Picnic table and fire ring included. We'll definitely be marking this one a favorite.

I loooooved camping at Dragonfly Farms. Katherine and her family were very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. We stayed at the “site by the creek” but staying at either site would’ve been great. (we went and checked out the other site too)
Dragonfly farms has lots of walking trails and lots of animals. But also has lots of privacy. You can really choose the way you want to camp. The stars were beautiful over the hills. We opted to do the horseback riding as well. I have never rode before and Katherine made me feel soo comfortable.
Overall, I loved my experience and I really have zero negative things to say about staying at Dragonfly farms. If needed, there is a food lion about 15min away in the town of Louisa. :)

Camping here was wonderful. We got there very late so we didn't get to appreciate the views of the campsite until the morning. We also had car trouble and Katherine and Bruce were more than accommodating to ensure we got back on the road quickly. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a blast! We stayed at campsite 2 and it was perfectly secluded. We didn't see a single person while we were there, which was exactly what we were looking for! We were a group of three adults, a 14 and 6 year old and three dogs and everyone would recommend. We will definitely be back!

I've never stayed on a farm before so I didn't know what to expect going in, besides the photos on this site and the wonderful reviews left by others.
This was a quiet and quaint retreat away from the chaos of the city. Katherine was a little hard to reach on hipcamp, but she was immediate to respond by phone and was extremely kindhearted and hospitable, and made us feel like if we needed anything at all it was within easy access.
Instructions to get to the campsites were very nicely detailed and there was a cute "camp" sign to welcome us on one of the gates. It was very cold the night we camped (28F low) but there was plenty of firewood and the fire-pit was large enough for my group to stay plenty toasty. The farm dogs also visited us (3 of them) and they were extremely friendly and stayed by our tents to guard and made us feel very safe. There is lots of space between sites and you get plenty of privacy.
If you can brave the cold I would go now as the combination of open field, fall colors, and red streaked sky at sunset was unbeatable. Lake Anna was nearby as well as several nice cideries and wineries that we visited. Make sure you explore the farm and see the other animals too! Katherine looked like she was running errands on the farm as we said hi to the horses and we had a pleasant chat. I can't wait to come back again soon and would definitely recommend this to anyone who values privacy, quaint and large spaces, animals, etc.

We got Site 1, near the barn. The spot was perfect for our needs--basic, private, and DARK at night...we could even make out the Milky Way. The view across the fields during the day was really lovely too. This place wasn't far off away, but it felt like it, really peaceful. Hope we get a chance to visit again.

This is our second year in a row camping here and we will definitely be making it a new family tradition. The owners are super friendly and very responsive. The property is quiet and serene. The stargazing is out of this world. Our 4 year old loves walking around the farm and seeing all the different animals, especially his "camp dog" Sandy. We also got some amazing steaks from the owners. An amazing weekend all around. Can't wait to come back next year :)

We had a wonderful night at Dragonfly Farms. If you're looking for a secluded site with views of beautiful rolling farms field this is it. Running water at the barn was very convenient. The instructions to get to the camp site were very easy to follow and the sites could be reached by pretty much any car. We went straight to the campsite which made the experience extremely smooth. I would highly recommend anyone stay at Dragonfly Farms and we will probably end up coming back!

Refreshing, gorgeous, lush land. Site two was perfect for a sunset and star gazing. The ground cover smells amazing. Perfect getaway to think. I had a breakthrough on a design Ive been mulling over for months. Katherine and her staff and family were very responsive and lovely. Definitely recommend.
