The pond and property is amazing. I caught several fish in the pond (bass, pike, sunflish/bluegill), but nothing of any good size. There is a small john boat available that worked well for my family, (just bring life jackets for everyone). The host is incredibly friendly and helpful. Just be aware that the camp sights are not isolated and the large brick house is located about 300ish yards from the pond.. The two times i have been here there were not distractions or any form of activity from the main/large brick house, but just something to think about. If you are wanting to just relax and fish, float, swim, kayak or paddle, this place works very well and it's well off of paved roads so there are no distractions.

The small lake was great. The owner had a small john boat and paddles available . We caught several bass along the shore and from the john boat.

Peaceful
We decided to plan a late Labor Day weekend getaway. Our location was right by the lake. The ground was fairly level, but we put some fire work on some of our tires since we had a truck tent. We packed our own kayaks but he did have a small canoe you could use. The lake was larger than I thought. We didn’t catch anything but we kept hearing the fish jump in the morning. It was pretty chilly at night which we didn’t prepare for since it was so warm in the day. The stars were beautiful though! Overall, we enjoyed our time there.

It was a very beautiful campsite beside the lake. We brought our own kayaks and our dog. We will definitely come back!
