Originally part of Blake Farm, built in the 1930's. Blake Farm was subdivided into 5 acres farmettes in the 1990's. The original farmhouse is next door, now known as Agape Farms. The forest has reclaimed much of the original Blake Farm land. Visit over 4 acres of available land, from the pastures, to the wooded creek, or the very back edge of the farm abutting deep woods. Spend relaxing time petting the Nigerian Dwarf goats, Rhode Island Red chickens, and the super-friendly livestock guard dogs (Thomasina, Bucky, and Sarge). We are also located adjacent to Agape Farms, with its horses, ducks, and chickens. All this in horse country just minutes from I-95 and an hour from Washington, DC or Richmond, VA.

Great spot!
Rodney and his camp spot were both great! We got to his farm around 8:30 pm and he was there, ready to welcome us. The spot was secluded and felt safe, although the dogs barking sometimes caused some stirring in the night.

Quick retreat with my 10 year old
Great host. 10 year old and I had a blast getting to feed and pet the animals! Rodney is a great host, upgraded my RV rental to the tiny home.

Farmside Tiny Home Experience
The tiny house worked out great for me and my 4 year old. It was very comfortable and well-stocked. We had a great time walking around the farm, saying hello to the dogs, goats, and chickens, and sitting around the campfire.

The Mulchy Forest site
We stayed one night. They had plenty of fire wood at the site and kindling. The composting toilet was simple and in a private spot. The spot was maintained and had plenty of shade. There were a few dying trees surrounding the spot but we didn't have any issues. RV campers were close by but the spot provided privacy. There are herding dogs that will alert when you come close to the fence. The neighborhood dogs will bark all night. And some noises in the night that don't have stories. I would stay again. The owner came by and shared that this spot used to just be something small but has developed over time.

Farmside Tiny Home Experience
This tiny house was awesome and the perfect place for my stopover in Virginia during a roadtrip. It was a very hot day, so the AC was definitely a plus! The house had everything I needed, good kitchen setup and comfortable sleeping area. It was convenient to drive up and park right next to the house. Hosts were friendly and kind, highly recommended this place.
