The camp site is 5.7 miles from I-81 (exit 251) and 3.4 miles from JMU. The camp sits on about 18 acres of land and is about 2 miles from the Harrisonburg city limits. We are about 2 miles from grocery stores, gas stations, and eating establishments. There are a few local attractions close by. The camp has a community pavilion with picnic tables and outdoor furniture. There is a gas grill available for cooking and a fire pit. TENT CAMPING: Tent sites can be set up in the wooded area or in the open fields. RV CAMPING: We have 6 sites for RV campers around the pavilion. Each site has water and electric hookups.

Thank you so much Thomas for creating a hospitable and comfortable atmosphere at your campground/home. Our stay was perfect and you were a gracious and pleasant host. You gave Just the right amount of space for us to navigate through our remote work activities and you even had a campfire burning for us upon our arrival. This was certainly above and beyond our expectations and really created a special experience for us. We would definitely come back.

Tom is a chill and excellent guy which shows thru in the curated campsite he runs. It's well maintained, comfortable and he's totally willing to help with things you may need, but at the same time if you're a free range camper and good on your own you'll enjoy the peace and comfort there all the same.

We enjoyed our stay here. It is beautiful and peaceful. Tom was very welcoming and helpful. We'll definitely stay here again. This a great stop for tent, van, small RV and trailer campers!

What an amazing location and site. Secluded and quiet, yet close to town, entertainment and outdoor adventures. The pavilion is a really nice perk, even though I didn’t get a chance to use it this time. Tom is a great host and I’m looking forward to returning soon.

Our review We’ve stayed at a lot of campsites over the years — and this one is easily in our Top 5 🌲🔥💯 Super peaceful ✨, crazy convenient 🚗, and the pavilion is way nicer than it looks in the photos (no offense, photos 📸). We figured it’d be a basic shelter — but it’s actually an awesome hangout spot: shady in the day 🌤️, cozy fire at night 🔥, outlets to charge your stuff 🔌📱, and even a grill for cooking 🍔. We originally booked a wooded tent site 🏕️ but after a week of nonstop rain ☔, the host gave us a heads-up and let us switch to an RV site. Super appreciated — easy setup, no issues 👍 We still walked over the little bridge 🌉 to check out the woods — it’s narrow but totally fine for walking or light vehicles. You can also park in the open field and carry gear in easily. Just enough “rustic” to feel like camping without needing survival skills. Yeah, the road is nearby and you’ll hear a bit of traffic 🚗 — nothing major, but if you’ve got wild toddlers who like to run off 🏃‍♂️💨 maybe keep an eye out. Overall? We’d totally come back. Quiet nights 🌌, deer wandering through 🦌, firelight flickering 🔥, WiFi to stream your music 🎶 — what more do you need?

Very pleasant host. Many spots to choose from for our tent. Clean pavilion including the gas grill. Well maintained yard. Clean toilet. Easy to access and would stay here again.

A lovely and peaceful property with a spacious field and lovely woods and graceful old trees. There is very nice pavilion with tables and comfortable chairs to relax in, and to shelter from rain. Great setup for a wide range of campers. Thomas was a very generous and thoughtful host who greeted us as we arrived and showed us around the property. Don't hesitate to book this site. We will return.
