What a GREAT spot! The directions were spot on. The hosts were great. Greeting me and making sure I had everything I needed and replied to messages quickly. It was very quiet and lovely.
I brought bug spray, but they were too bad. Except, I did find a tick on me. So be careful. Nothing can be done about that. I WILL be back to the fabulous spot. Thank you Hosts for making a perfect place for me to pitch my tent.

This was my first HIPCAMP experience and the folks at Cornerstone Farm were amazing. A quick check in to make sure we were settled, generous amount of firewood. Can’t wait until to visit again when the wildflowers bloom.

Beautiful and secluded spot surrounded by forest and open field. The picnic table was a nice touch, and we enjoyed the quiet and privacy. A great place to relax and unwind

This campsite was exactly what I was looking for to have a serene and private camping experience. The hosts were very hospitable when I arrived and they showed me all the amenities that I had access to with the campsite. I recommend this place for other Hipcampers and I look forward to coming back in the near future.

Had a quiet relaxing day and night at Camp Trout. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place! Nice level spot with firepit, bench and picnic table. The outhouse is also a nice amenity in such a remote location. I'm an amateur astronomer, and the stargazing was great.

Lovely little and very private place. A bit rugged right before you enter this plot of land but was fine to navigate with my ford transit van.
My kids and dog enjoyed the freedom very much and I was able to enjoy some peace with my husband. Perfect for a very quiet getaway.

I enjoyed my time at Cornerstone Farm so much. I stayed at Camp Red Fish which is farther back in the corner of the field. It was so peaceful, secluded, and beautiful. I went as a bit of a retreat to unplug from the world a bit, relax, and go through a good book. It served my purposes perfectly and I would definitely come back again.

Although it rained for about two hours after we got there but once the rain cleared, we set up the tent and enjoyed the peace and quiet, the lighting bugs, cleared skies and a bright full moon.
Very enjoyable and not a bad drive from Chesapeake, Virginia.
The hosts graciously delivered us fresh eggs from their farm which we enjoyed the following morning.

This was a really neat experience and the two sites were far enough apart as to not disturb. The property was magnificent. I spoke (in detail) with Evie’s husband about their farming, animals on the property, and how I could play my music as loud as I wanted! Absolute serenity! Highly recommend and can’t wait to get a bigger group out there as I was a solo tent camper. Definitely be back again when in the area!!

We loved this spot!! Quiet, serene, clean, and just an all-around enjoyable spot. We didn't stargaze due to the weather, but se hiw beautiful the sky could be without clouds! Evie and her family were super friendly, bringing us a GORGEOUS dozen of eggs (if eggs had a beauty pageant, they'd win!) for $5! The amount of wood (2 nights) we purchased was plentiful, they filled the bird feeders for us, and were just overall nice people.

The land was well managed and maintained. There was firewood at our site already chopped for us. They have an outhouse. It’s carry in carry out. We had a peaceful rest stop for the night. Felt very safe. She even offered us fresh chicken eggs!

Peaceful and quiet! Delightful location. Clean as can be. From this campsite I went to Williamsburg and Jamestown. Be sure to take ferry to Jamestown - it’s a hoot and free! Will enjoy a return visit!

We loved the fact that it was secluded and we had a whole area to ourselves! You could watch the stars in the sky. For an awesome price you get a boat load of fire wood. We had stopped on the road leading up to the camp ground and the owners came to our camp site to check on us and make sure that we were okay! They were great with communication!
We definitely want to come and stay again!

The outhouse and picnic tables looked quite new and clean. Helpful to have firewood sitting there ready to be used. The birdfeeders and zinnias are a nice touch. Loved watching and listening to the birds as they came over to eat. It is very quiet back there. Bring your bug spray though. I was there just after a rain storm; so it was a bit buggy.
Even with extra detailed directions, it was a bit tough to find. Luckily, they found me and guided me back there! I was close, but I was leery of driving down dirt roads with No Trespassing signs. Maybe a second hipcamp sign a little closer to the turnoff from the main road or at the places where there was a choice of which dirt track to take would help. It said there were gps coordinates provided, but I didn't see that in time.

I loved camping on Evie’s land! Evie was super responsive and the directions to site were very clear. The field was lovely and private. The campsite is equipped with a fire pit, firewood, picnic table, trash cans and a toilet. The two campsites are distanced well from each other and equally sized. I did like that the redfish campsite felt like it was tucked back farther away. Lots of birds and even some butterflies and fireflies. Will definitely book this campsite again!

Evie and her husband were fantastic hosts, and my camping site was amazing! If your in the area and looking for a clean, private, secluded camping spot you can't do better than here! I would 100% stay here agin when I am in the area. I loved the privacy, the picnic table and fire ring as well as the bathroom facilities. This I why I love Hipcamp so much!
