Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
This is a primitive camp site along the beautiful Clinch River in Scott County VA. Bank access to the river provides opportunities for fishing, kayaking and floating on the river. Located a short drive from the Natural Tunnel State Park and The Devil’s Bathtub. Enjoy a quiet river view surrounded by beautiful mature trees.Pitch a tent, or camp out of a 4-wheel drive vehicle along the River. Entrance to the camping location is marked with a sign that says “Camping by reservation only.” There is a fire ring and picnic table a couple hundred yards down the River bank
You’ll have access to the entire river bank, feel free to explore but be careful, some of the bank along the River is steep. To the left of the paved path down to the bank is easy river access. This will also be marked by signs.
