The Chincoteague Wildlife Refuge is home to over 275 bird species and the famous wild Chincoteague ponies, featuring 37 miles of protected beaches and dunes for exploration. Just minutes away, you can visit Assateague State Park and the historic Assateague Lighthouse, both offering stunning views and outdoor activities. Nearby attractions include the Waterfowl Museum, the Oyster Museum, and the Chincoteague Pony Centre, where visitors can interact with ponies and take riding lessons.
