Billyville is not just a state of mind, it is a place to camp, play, and relax. Located in rustic Bells Crossroads, VA three miles from I-64, Billyville is a work in progress featuring 2 tent and 4 RV sites with electric hookup and lots of space. Wifi, well water from a hose and composting outhouse facilities are available. Other amenities include a six hole disc golf course, little free library. Within one hour’s ride is a wealth of things to do, experience and see; within reach are the Shenandoah mountains, the University of Virginia and Charlottesville and Lake Anna . There is something for everyone from children to seniors, from outdoor adventurers, to history buffs, arts and entertainment seekers, bargain shoppers and local gourmet food and drink lovers. At days end you can go to concerts or “clubbing” in town or return to Billyville and enjoy the quiet, peaceful ambiance of a campfire under a starlit sky. Check-Ins and Arrival Instructions: Check-ins on weekdays are dependent on my work schedule. If this is your first time at Billyville, I need to be on property to guide you into your site. Please reach out before your stay so we can coordinate. If I am off on that day, check-in is after 1pm. If I am working, it will be after 5pm and occasionally after 7. I am currently testing out some procedures to allow self check-in. We'll see how that pans out. Anyway, to get to Billyville: Turn onto Bells Lane. (Dirt Road). You'll see a white fence on your left down the lane about .2 miles. Just after the fence, you'll see a red sign at the beginning of a rope fence. Turn off Bells Lane just after the sign and follow the fence, keeping it on you left. Billyville is a small farm in Louisa County Virginia convenient to both Charlottesville and Richmond. Featuring two spaces for pulled campers and smaller RVs up to 35 feet in length - this includes tow vehicle and trailer. Rig has to be able to U Turn in 58 feet. (There is a separate listing for an additional site (Site 3) that can accommodate vehicles up to 50ft in total length. Each space has 20 and 30 amp power outlets, access to well water from a communal hose, fire rings, trash bins and camp chairs.

There is a separate listing for Sites 1 and Site 2 which can accommodate vehicles up to 35 ft in total length. Each space has 20 and 30 amp power outlets, potable water, fire rings (with campfire ready to light) and trash bins. Check-Ins and Arrival Instructions: Check-ins on weekdays are dependent on my work schedule. If this is your first time at Billyville, I need to be on property to guide you into your site. Please reach out before your stay so we can coordinate. If I am off on that day, check-in is after 1pm. If I am working, it will be after 5pm and occasionally after 7. The directions were spot on, even leading to the exact site. There was plenty of room between sites. Billy was a warm and friendly person and certainly made you feel very welcome. I will want to camp there again

Farmette Near Interstate Site 3

I would highly recommend Billyville to other Hip campers. Our Host Billy was very quick to respond in messages from the very start. Upon arrival, we were greeted friendly and felt welcomed. The site is very quiet. We really enjoyed the serenity of an evening fire under the starlit sky. Billy had got our fire ready to light. All we had to do was light it. Very nice. The entrance is down a one lane road. Well maintained. Very easy to navigate. We have a 31 foot 5th wheel (13’ high), and had no problems getting in. Billy met us and guided us into our spot. It is a big pull thru. The site is grassy. Not muddy. Easy to level. Set up with a fire ring, a picnic table, and two Adirondack chairs. There is a 30 amp plug. We have 2 dogs. And was surprised to hear Billy had just finished creating a dog run. On the property is the Bandshell. Where Billy puts on concerts with other talented musicians. So it being Labor Day weekend, we got to enjoy a concert. If you’re looking for a very quiet place to stay, this is it.

Billy's place is really nice. He prepped the fire ring for us and brought us even some kindling wood to start it. His land is vast and we saw gracing deer every day. Super good location. Many breweries and wineries around and place to hike as well. Billy answered quickly if we had any questions or concerns.

Friendly and accommodating host. Was able to fulfill special requests. Green grass sites, easily leveled. Remove feeling but still close to amenities, tractor Supply Company (propane), Food Lion (groceries), BBQ Exchange (best bbq in long time, and great cup cakes and pies), several fun breweries and wineries.

Friendly and accommodating, was able to help with special requests. Fire pits were prepped with kindling and (free) fire wood, all we had to do was light a match. Easy and fun. Sites were were green grass and mostly level. Remote feeling, yet fairly close to some great places, best Bar-B-Q ever at BBQ Exchange, close to Food Line (groceries) and Tractor Supply (propane) as well as several excellent brew pubs. At least 3 holes of Disc golf on premeses, I don’t play but saw 3.

We had a really fun time at Billys. It's close to Charlottesville and zions crossroads. If you're looking for something secluded or private, this might not be your best option as the campsites are very close to the house.

We stayed with Billy for a weekend while vacationing around Virginia. Got lucky with a last minute booking. Billy gave us great recommendations for local brewery and sports bar to catch the Sunday games. So much better than a commercial crowded campground! Our son (2 yr) really loved hanging out with Billy. He would run up to the house and try to catch his new friend. Plenty of space for walks with kids and the dog. Just a lovely experience!!

We had a wonderful stay at Billy’s place! Nice big grassy space to park, easy hookups. Beautiful property, very peaceful for a great night sleep. Billy was fun to talk to and willing to help with anything we might need. Thanks Billy for a great stay. We will definitely stop again!

Billy@ Billyville is awesome! Full of local(and not so local)info. Beautiful property. Well working 30amp and water available. As we arrived late, Billy still met us and directed us to hookups. (10:15 pm!) Large level parking and easy access.

Very nice location close to the interstate but nice and quiet place! Billy was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed to have a great stay! If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay at a low price this is a great option!

Billy was a great host! Very friendly and helpful making sure we had everything we needed. The campsite was very quiet and has water available to fill your camper and 30 amp electricity. We had a great trip and enjoyed our week there. Would definitely recommend if you want a nice place to camp at a low price per night

Billie was such an amazing host. He was so kind, welcoming, and so nice to my boys (ages 4 & 7). We felt so relaxed and had so much fun at the fire Billie set up for us. The site is flat so easy to pull an RV and safe for kids to run around. We will be back!!

My daughter, niece and I had an amazing time at Billyville! Billy was absolutely the best and was extremely nice and helpful. This was my first time ever using HipCamp and I’m happy to have had him as my first host. He definitely set the stage for future adventures. He has beautiful open land with games and plenty of space for kids. I’ll definitely be back again!

Nice peaceful spot in the country. Best host we've had camping on private property. Was very tight with our 40ft class a but made it in fine. It's a humble site but it offers peace and quiet as well as hookups. The disc golf course was fun and the night sky was beautiful.

Billy was an excellent host. Our spot had power and water. And plenty of room for our 28 foot camper. It was very quiet so we slept really well. We didn’t spend much time there as we were visiting family nearby for Thanksgiving.

Billy was absolutely amazing! We rented all three RV sites for a group trip and it was the perfect place to get away. Easy location to get to and Billy made it even easier to navigate with a video on where the location was and how to pull in. Spots were flat which made set up super easy. Billy was also more then accommodating, we left behind our keys to the camper and he provide tools and assistance in helping us set up. With out his help our camping trip wouldn't have happened! We will definitely come back to Billyville.

Billy's land is a great place to get away and enjoy the outdoors. It is located just off the interstate, easy to get to but is very rural. A nice locally owned brewery/winery close by. Billy is hands on and checks in often. He lives on the property and is available to help with anything you need. RVs will need a longer cord to reach the power, Billy did have one extra for someone in our group that needed it. Nice flat spots, close together but each has own firepit and picnic table.

We were setup on site#1, found a level spot and it was smooth sailing from there. Billy met us and guided us in and made sure we had firewood, water, and electricity. It was quiet and we enjoyed the night sky. There was even a lending library with current titles. We will definitely be back.

One of our top hipcamps for so many reasons—first Billy’s incredible hospitality and generosity (for us and our dogs), the comfort, cleanliness, peaceful and perfect campsite with ease of parking our trailer and hookups, and back to Billy-our conversations, campfires and listening to and singing along to his wonderful guitar playing and soulful voice. We love Charlottesville and the blue ridge parkway and the ability to get there relatively quickly from Billy’s place. Will definitely be back!

Billy is friendly and talkative, knowledgeable and helpful. The location was ideal for what we needed. Remote, gorgeous stars, great amenities for our camper trailer. Bring mosquito repellent (a given for most camping) and stuff for s’mores! Group campfires -or private ones -are a bonus.

Billyville had what we hoped for and more - clear directions; a flat spot with easy, pull-through access; a wonderful host; and hookups for our AC on a hot day. We enjoyed a peaceful evening and, though we didn't take advantage of the opportunity, had both private and community fire pit options. We will absolutely be back. Wholeheartedly recommend this spot!

This camp spot was great! Billy was super friendly and helpful, and has fire pits and wood available for each spot, lovely Adirondack chairs to lounge in, reliable electric, and water available to fill your fresh tank. We were in town for work so didn't have time to enjoy a fire but i love that it was an option!
