Abundance Farm is a regenerative farming collective. We have a young farmers building their enterprises on our land. Andy runs a custom grazing program in which he rotates cattle daily through the pasture in temporary paddocks. They eat, poop, stomp, and move, mimicking the great herds of herbivores on the plains, building topsoil and sequestering carbon.
The initial idea for farming came about through our healing journey. Nutrient dense foods, properly prepared, helped to heal Elli from rheumatoid arthritis and hypothyroidism. We grow and ferment much of our own food including vegetables and meat. We make sauerkraut, jun tea (a cousin of kombucha), pickles, and corned beef.
