Perfect for families, or anyone
Lovely place for a family, or anyone really. We were in a quiet corner of the property and had a great time. The facilities are a bonus (toilet, showers and more) but if you prefer to rough it you still can. Good location close (but not too close) to Benalla, Lake Nillahcootie, Brookfield Maze, etc.
Just good people running a good, honest camp.

Definitely recommend . Ginnie and Garry were great hosts, the atmosphere was friendly and peaceful. The amenities were very well maintained and we’re glad we ordered the fresh eggs. They were delicious.

Farmtastic!
Second visit and we will be back! Amazing hosts, lovely animals and very relaxing stay. Ginnie & Garry made us feel very welcome during our stay.There are all the amenities in the main camp kitchen and so much more for the kids including ice creams.
There is everything for kids to make their stay fun and adventure filled.A great family experience getting to feed lambs and Cows with such an amazing farm tour.
This is a great place to just get away for a while with no internet or phone reception and you can enjoy being in the nature.

Camping with a farm experience
Both Ginnie & Garry are great people, going above and beyond to ensure my son was able to get involved with the farm animals 'feeding time'. I'm so glad they did as he has not stopped talking about his experiences. The property is very clean and well maintained with exceptional facilities.

Impressive
Impressed with the toilet/shower. Clean and fresh, with toiletries provided.
Very impressed with the clean and well stocked kitchen with kettle, toaster microwave, fridge and freezer. Selection of eggs vegetables, softdrinks and even icy poles! (and other camping items).
Chest freezer with ice.
Also have play equipment and a trampoline for on site activity for kids.
So you can travel light and stay for while no problem.

Ginnie & Garry’s property was a perfect spot for us to get out of the city with the family and our pup. Ginnie provided firewood, animal feeding and was a friendly and generous host. There was a little waterfall not far from the site and the lake was a quick drive out of town.

My family and I had a great time relaxing at Ginnie and Gary’s property. Everything you need is there. A very well maintained amenities block to make it comfortable for small children. And bonus play equipment! Ginnie was a lovely host and helped us with anything we needed. I Loved listening to the creek as I fell asleep. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back. Thank you for having us ☺️

Nillawarre Woodland Camp- unpowered
NillawarreWoodland camp is amazing!
Staying at Nillawarre with Ginnie and Garry was a great experience which I would recommend to anyone no matter if you are a seasoned camper or new to the fun.
From communication prior, to the welcome on site and throughout our stay they were so welcoming and helpful and willing to work hard to make sure our stay was the best. This was done whilst also being respectful of our space as guests on their land.
Their land and the camping spots are simply beautiful, with plenty of space, shade and plenty of distance between other campers who were far enough away to make you feel like you had the whole place to yourselves. The location has some great walks in the adjacent state park including waterfalls well worth a visit. Nearby lake Nillacootie was also great for swimming.
The Shared shower/toilet facilities are clean and well maintained, and their camp kitchen is stocked with everything you could need from ice, to local produce and even ice creams.
As if that wasn’t enough, Ginnie and Garry happily took the kids to feed the animals which was a highlight for the kids (and some adults too!)
Our group of 22 adults and kids had a great time and would recommend this camp to anyone.
Thanks so much Ginnie and Garry, you are amazing hosts and we really appreciate everything you did to make our stay one we will never forget.

Fantastic experience
We had an amazing time at Ginnie's and Garry's corner campsite. From the moment I made the booking, Ginnie kept me updated and informed me of everything we needed to know about the stay. When we came to the location, Ginnie gave us a good tour of all the facilities in the communal area and showed us where everything was. Then we drove about 800m to a beautiful campsite, and Ginnie brought us the stove and firewood I ordered. All the facilities are very neat and tidy, toilets and showers are very clean. We loved all of the eggs, ice cream and other important this you have made available for a very reasonable price. All of us enjoyed our stay very much, and we have already made plans to visit again. Keep up the great work, Ginnie and Garry.

Loved our time at Nillawarrie! The camp sites are so spacious but you're still conveniently close to the facilities. The toilets, showers and kitchen are all really clean and functional and basic snacks and necessities are provided in the kitchen for a few dollars if you end up forgetting something at home. Ginnie even took the kids on a ride around the property on a little tractor to feed the animals, which they LOVED. Overall a fantastic place to stay with lovely people. We'll definately be back.

Fantastic
Nillaware is a fantastic camp-site and the hosts ensured we had a wonderful experience. The large, flat grassed area accommodated our large group perfectly. The creek and hills were beautiful and created a serene environment. The well-stocked and reasonably priced items came in very handy. The camp kitchen, flushing toilets and hot showers provided a little luxury within the otherwise natural setting. The kids got a real kick out of the free animal feeding and is highly recommended for the little ones. There is plenty to explore nearby; we particularly enjoyed hiking to the waterfalls in the Mt. Samaria Sate Forest, and swimming and fishing at Lake Nillacootie.
The one disclaimer I would add for prospective campers is to ensure they have bring their own shade (i.e. gazebos, awnings, etc.). We visited during a very hot week in the middle of summer and there was limited natural shade on our site. This is not a criticism, just something to consider when planning your trip. The hosts have planted trees which will grow and provide excellent shade in the future. We look forward to returning in years to come.

Wonderful hosts in a wonderful location. The amenities are fantastic and above expectations. Clean toilets and showers, and incredibly valuable to have stock of handy items like ice, cold drinks, fresh eggs and veg, etc. Highly recommend!

A 5-star Stay!
We had a group of 3 stay here as our last stop before heading to Melbourne. The stay was lovely, easy & fuss free & we all loved it. Ginnie was very friendly & greeted us at the door before taking us around.
The campsites themselves are flat with lot of clearance, semi-secluded (other sites are visible but a little away from each other), some have trees/shades whilst others are clear. Campfires are allowed in the provided pits & sufficient firewood was also provided.
The facilities (hot showers (x2), toilets (x2) kitchen) are all exceptionally clean & well kept with some very considered touches as well. The kitchen also has eggs, ice, some snacks and ice cream you can purchase via an honesty system - so do remember to bring some cash for this.

Our stay at this camp was amazing and quiet with a beautiful view. Ginnie was so good with the kids taking them to feed the animals and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. I use a wheelchair and found that the toilets were easy to access and always kept clean.

What an amazing place!
The Corner Camp is cracking spot - well protected, shaded, secluded, with no passing traffic.
It's a little trip to the kitchen and toilets. We didn't find this an inconvenience at all, and a small price to pay for the peace and quiet.
The facilities are exceptional - a well stocked fridge and pantry, and a freezer full of ice creams. The showers and toilets are a welcome luxury.
There's plenty to do off the farm - swimming, hikes up Mt Samaria, King Valley wineries. Highly recommend Lake William Hovell for a swim or picnic. It's a decent drive so best make a day of it.
Ginnie & Garry could not be any more responsive, kind and helpful. The kids (and some adults) loved feeding the animals and having a trip around the farm.
Thanks very much for a great holiday. We'll be back again soon.

We loved our stay at Nillewarre Woodland Camp. This is our second time staying at Ginnie and Garrys property and they are wonder hosts who are so accommodating. Our kids fed the animals this time which was a real highlight for them. We would highly recommend Nillewarre. Great facilities. Amazing hosts.

Camping
Beautiful farm with excellent amenities. The kitchen, toilet and shower were super clean. Ginny was so lovely and made us feel welcome. Fire wood was provided and there was plenty of room between each campsite. We loved sitting by the fire and listening to the different animal sounds at night!

Great campsite with farm animals!
This was a great place to stay at, whether it be big group or just as a couple. The toilet, shower and kitchen amenities were super useful, clean and well maintained. There were other sites nearby but distanced away so that we couldn't hear them at all. Ginnie was very friendly and great at making us feel welcome. The animal feeding was the best part of the trip and not to be missed!

Family fun!
This place is brilliant! It balances serenity and convenience just perfectly!
Ginnie is a wonderful host and is very responsive and accommodating.
The bathroom/toilet/kitchen block is well maintained, clean and full of the perfect conveniences like water, ice, ice creams, snacks and even butane gas!

What a treat, go for the clear
We had such a great time staying at Ginnie & Gary’s farm.
The campsites are well set apart so we had heaps of room & privacy and the amenities block with toilets, showers and kitchen were excellent.
Our host were great to deal with, very friendly and helpful.
Would have loved to stay longer and we can’t wait to camp here again.

What a find! A beautiful location, a quiet & private camping spot, some firewood supplied, hot showers & real toilets (with real toilet paper), fridges stacked with ice cream, water & soft drinks at excellent prices. Plus two wonderful, caring and super helpful hosts. My 5 motorcycling friends and I thought we'd died and gone to camping Heaven.
