Beautiful campsite on the river. Clean and flat. The kids loved exploring the labyrinth and playing along the river. Clear communication with booking and greeted by the host when we arrived

The Hive Nest was cozy & fun. Right next to a lovely brook and not far from all the activities to be found on & around Lake Willoughby. Amey was communicative & helpful. Would stay again!

The land is so well kept, no trash, grass was short. The hosts are so easy to contact and interact with. They were honest about the current burn ban before our arrival. This was a return trip and I will continue coming back and sharing this spot with my friends and pup!

A gorgeous quiet spot along a stream not too far from Kingdom Trails and Willoughby Lake. It was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway with close friends. Our dogs loved it, too! Be sure to BYO water and plan for showers elsewhere like they say in the details. And plan to navigate without cell phones, since there’s no service there.

My son, dog & I had a great night the hive ! It was clean and neat and well equipped! Amey was friendly and welcoming! We played in the river, had diner & swam at Willoughby then had a cozy, snug sleep back at the site. The portapotty was very clean too!

Wow. What a quiet, special place. A drive down powwow lane and you will find a quiet spiritual place along the river. We listened to the babling brook, warmed our hands by the fire, then woke up in the morning to a great blue heron doing some early morning fishing. After making breakfast we lingered for a while, walked the quiet labrynth then headed to Lake Willoughby. Thankyou for the great stay. It was very peaceful.

We loved this campsite. It was right next to a very private river, and it was such a peaceful place to stay. The 39 acres were once owned by an Indian Chief, so the land is very sacred. There are some abandoned buildings around, and what looks like a medicine wheel just adds to the coolness of this property. Amey was a great host. She came down on the second night with her young children to ask if we needed anything. She provided wood for the fire pit, but I would also bring some of your own as much of it was wet. There is also a table and chairs for eating. I would highly recommend this property. We will be back! Thank you Amey for letting us stay!

It is a very intimate and quiet place, the camp is very accessible by car and very well maintained. I loved the apple trees, the flowers, the clear river where I relaxed for a long time. Amey is very friendly and welcoming. I hope to have the chance to return there one day. it's about 12 minutes from lake willougby so very close. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.

Amey has beautiful, quiet property back in the woods. The campsite is tucked in the nook of a small river as you can see. There are nice areas to sit by the river and the water is crystal clear and deep enough to swim in a few spots or just bob around in a tube. There are some unused buildings around the campsite, the bathroom is a porta potty so I think the bathhouse was out of commission. I would come here again, great spot to stay close to lake willoughby but away from the RVs and tourists. I didn't have any phone service anywhere in the entire lake area so you may have trouble contacting her once you're in the area, do this before. Of course, that's some of the charm - unplug.

We couldn’t find the electricity, but the place was really nice! No water and only a dry toilet. The campsite was isolated so we had privacy.
We were a bit freaked by the fact that there were people that seemed to be buried on the site…

Excellent camping experience. My girlfriend and I camped here during winter. While we didn’t explore much due to the snow, we still were witness to the large and pretty property.
Amey was an excellent host. Due to the snow, she graciously hauled us and our gear back and forth from the site in her side by side. She occasionally dropped in to make sure we were doing alright, providing water and trashbags.
Near the campsite was a port o potty, which was honestly the cleanest port on potty I’ve seen.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Amey's property, which was beautiful, serene and felt quite private, as we were the only campers this past weekend. Our goal was to explore local mountains and this site is convenient to so much nature! Amey was accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. She was flexible in our later arrival time, and gave us a wonderfully pleasant greeting despite the late hour. She also checked into ensure our stay was up to par, which it most certainly was.
We are so grateful for the chance to stay on such a beautiful property, and will certainly be back soon!

We had a wonderfull stay at Amey's camp site. The site is calm and beautiful, the nature surround us. We had access to a small river. Amey got sure we had everything we needed. Willoughby Lake is very close and magestic.
Don't forget your water as the one a the site is not drinkable. The only negative thing is as the wood was wet, it was difficult to make a fire.
Anyways, a place to come back for sure !!
